President Donald Trump made good on his promise to release behind the scenes video of his “60 Minutes” interview with correspondent Lesley Stahl.
Trump promised to publish an “unedited preview” of the sit-down interview at the White House in order to show that it was a “vicious attempted ‘takeout’” by correspondent Stahl. He shared the clip on Facebook Thursday pointing out the “bias, hatred and rudeness” by the veteran journalist.
“I will soon be giving a first in television history full, unedited preview of the vicious attempted ‘takeout’ interview of me by Lesley Stahl of @60Minutes,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Watch her constant interruptions & anger. Compare my full, flowing and ‘magnificently brilliant’ answers to their ‘Q’s.’”
He also included a previous message showing Stahl not wearing a mask at the White House following the session.

In the video shared by Trump, Stahl began by warning that she was going to ask “tough questions” and Trump telling her to “just be fair.”
“You don’t ask Biden tough questions,” he said, referring to his opponent, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. “It’s terrible, you know that.”

In portions that followed, Stahl argued with the president over the veracity of revelations about Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, that were allegedly discovered on his laptop computer. Trump pushed back when Stahl insisted the discovered documents “can’t be verified.”
“Because it can’t be verified,” she responded after the president asked why not, and despite verification by law enforcement officials as well as Fox News and the New York Post.
When Trump noted how his opponent had “gone into hiding” for five days after the news broke, Stahl defended Biden again and insisted that it was because the former vice president was “preparing” for his debate against Trump.
Stahl also claimed the president was not correct when he said his 2016 campaign was spied upon.

What Stahl does not mention: Carter Page, George Papadoupoulos, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, ‘Azra Turk,’ Stefan Halper, the 8/30/2016 FBI briefing, the 1/6/17 ICA briefing, and more. Taken all together, by any reasonable definition, that’s spying. 3/3 End.

When the president spoke about the “greatest economy in the history of [The United States], Stahl actually interrupted to claim that what he said was not true.
“Best unemployment numbers, best employment numbers… Highest stock market price. You wouldn’t say that to Biden, what you just said to me… We had the best—everything was the best,” Trump fired back.
In a discussion about COVID-19, the president contended that the increase in cases of the coronavirus has been due to more testing being conducted.
“We do more testing. If we didn’t do testing, cases would be way down.” We do more testing than any country in the world, by far. Second is India, with 1.5 billion people. If we did half the testing, we’d have half the cases… Because we do so much testing, the fake news media loves to say cases are up,” he said.
Before the end of the interview, Trump abruptly ended the exchange as he said “there’s enough of an interview here.” He stopped the interview before his scheduled discussion alongside Vice President Mike Pence after telling Stahl that Biden’s exchange with the outlet was completely different as he was given “softball after softball” questions.
CBS News defended the show and its correspondent.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany took to Twitter to called out Stahl who “discredited herself” with her biased questions.
Lesley Stahl “DISCREDITED HERSELF”‼️
She repeatedly cited the Senate GOP Report on Biden corruption@realDonaldTrump: “Do you think it’s OK for the mayor of Moscow’s wife to give him millions?”
Lesley falsely says “no real evidence of that”
It’s in the VERY report she cites! pic.twitter.com/YRWceHgXVq

Trump also shared photos of McEnany presenting Stahl “with some of the many things we’ve done for Healthcare. Lesley had no idea!”

Others also took to social media to back the president’s criticism of the “60 Minutes” interview.
Wow. 60 minutes Leslie Stahl is trying to gaslight @realDonaldTrump saying there’s no evidence that he was spied on and they can’t verify it – this despite thousands of pages of declassified documents to the contrary. pic.twitter.com/EFgrVZphfA

She constantly interrupted as he answered. She asked tough questions whereas they ask Biden what ice cream he likes. She lied repeatedly that it was unconfirmed the FBI under Obama spied on Trumps campaign. There are warrants and documents we all know about. She is ridiculous.

The bias is palpable.

I love that President Trump released the 60 Minutes interview and took away their ability to manipulate and misinform viewers.

The expose of @60Minutes itself is long overdue. MSM disruption is happening. And for all his flaws, this may be Trump’s best legacy. They’re so hellbent on shutting him up that they don’t even know they’re proving him right.
