Glenn Beck’s mega tweet-a-thon on Trump’s accomplishments triggered by RINO never-Trumper

Former Never Trumper Glenn Beck has taken to Twitter to mount a full-spectrum defense of President Donald Trump’s accomplishments in his first term. The tweetstorm by The Blaze boss was apparently prompted when U.S. Sen. Ben Sasse’s badly timed, anti-Trump comment surfaced.

Unstated by Beck is that Trump didn’t get tired of winning, as the saying goes, despite unprecedented obstruction by the Democrats and their lackeys in the corporate media, America Last federal bureaucrats in the so-called Deep State, and some members of his own party.

Responding to Nebraska Republican Sasse, Beck in his tweets leave almost no stone unturned in cataloging the president’s achievements, including in foreign policy. “He kicked the a** of ISIS and came home,” the pundit declared. He then listed other triumphs on the international front.

“He got us out of the disastrous Iran deal, killed their head of terror, boxed them in and is currently collapsing their economy while ALSO brokering a Mid East peace deal THAT EVERYONE SAID COULD NEVER HAPPEN, he moved our embassy to Jerusalem despite the state department…

“Something NO president has done even though they all promised. Yes, he met with the North Korean Dictator. I hated that, but I also hated the fact that no other president did anything and NK kept gaining power. In swing how he has gotten Europe to pay their share of …NATO, brought the Arabs and the Jews together while smashing the choke hold of the PLO, and stood up to the Chinese instead of selling them super computers (Clinton) accepting lead poison in dog food (bush) or loving the CCP and taking millions in dirty money (Obama/Biden).”

As far as President Trump’s domestic agenda, Beck praised the POTUS for his high-quality appointments on the federal bench, including three Supreme Court nominees, assuming Judge Amy Coney Barrett gets confirmed.

He also lauded Trump’s economic record as compared to his predecessor.

“@realDonaldTrump also took an economy that had been beaten down, a people who had been told ‘you didn’t build that’ and in fact – Obama and Biden claimed that this economy was as good as it would ever get, we would never create jobs in sectors ever again only to [g]ive us the lowest unemployment rate since 1969. The year I celebrated my 5TH birthday. Lowest unemployment for Hispanics & blacks EVER and causing the first real growth in pay that I can remember.”

In response to COVID, Glenn Beck asserted that Trump took unprecedented measures, particularly the lockdown that could have jeopardized his reelection.

As noted, this included shutting down the economy (although this was actually implemented by governors and varied from state to state in stringency), an international travel ban that prompted Trump’s foes to accuse him of racism, and mobilizing at warp speed an unprecedented public sector-private sector partnership to combat the infection from causing even more fatalities.

He also noted that Trump could never satisfy the Monday-morning quarterbacks who criticized him for either doing too much or not enough during the pandemic.

Beck could have added how Trump overcame the coronavirus in record time and immediately went back to work and hit the campaign trail.

Some voters are put off by Trump’s sometimes crass, abrasive personality and social media messaging, the hair, and the spray tan. Beck’s litany (which, so far, consists of 14 tweets) puts President Trump’s record in office in concise focus.

In so doing, it calls upon these folks — regardless of their party affiliation — to ask themselves what, if anything, Trump has done in office on behalf of the American people over which they actually disagree.

In August 2020, Beck offered a humble mea culpa for his Never Trump position in the 2016 election season. Beck supported U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) at the time.
