Former Secret Service agent and Fox News contributor Dan Bongino blew off Democrat threats to fill the U.S. Supreme Court with judicial activists and extend statehood to left-leaning territories in a bid to expand the Senate in their favor if President Donald Trump and the GOP-controlled Senate name a successor to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Brian Kilmeade, a co-host for the network’s morning show “Fox & Friends,” recounted the threats House and Senate Democrats were making, which includes loading the nation’s highest court with liberal justices and admitting Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, and Washington D.C. as states, which would theoretically give the party another eight Senate seats and the majority for years to come.

“Are ya scared?” Kilmeade asks.

“No,” Bongino began. “They can plant one on my caboose.”

The former NYPD officer noted that Democrat political threats are nothing new, but that in the great scheme of things, at the moment, they are pointless.

“They’ve been threatening us forever, Brian, what’s the difference?” Bongino continued. “I’m serious. They don’t scare me one bit. What, are we all being held hostage now because the minority on the Senate side that lost the election? They lost…we’re in charge of the Senate, for now.

“We may not be in January, but we certainly as hell are now. We won,” Bongino said, recounting Democrats’ treatment of Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his highly contentious — and highly unprecedented — confirmation hearings.

“After you harassed [him], they lost four seats and we gained a net of two on the Republican side,” he added, next referencing “college ‘if-then’ equations” to make his next point.

“That’s not the way threats work. The way threats work — if you do this, then we’ll do that — they’ve been threatening us forever,” Bongino, also a top podcaster, noted further.

He went on to say that Democrats have been threatening “for months” to pack federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court as well as adding Washington, D.C., as a state,  which many believe would be unconstitutional.

“None of this is new, so what, are we supposed to back down now?” Bongino said. “Here’s my advice to the Senate. Forget them, gaff off their nonsense. We’re in charge. Act like it for once.”

Since Ginburg’s passing from pancreatic cancer on Friday, several congressional Democrats have issued various threats to pack the high court and bring on several new Democrat-majority states.

“If Sen. McConnell and @SenateGOP were to force through a nominee during the lame-duck session—before a new Senate and President can take office—then the incoming Senate should immediately move to expand the Supreme Court,” House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York noted on Twitter Saturday.

“Filling the SCOTUS vacancy during a lame-duck session, after the American people have voted for new leadership, is undemocratic and a clear violation of the public trust in elected officials,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, also of New York, added. “Congress would have to act and expanding the court would be the right place to start.”

President Trump and, thus far, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, seem unfazed. The president has announced he will be naming a successor — a woman — this week, while McConnell has already secured a key swing vote from the GOP caucus, retiring Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee.
