Even after months upon months of being repeatedly exposed and shamed for their glaring double standards, members of the mainstream establishment media continue to double, triple and quadruple down on their one-sided reporting.

Example: During President Donald Trump’s rally late Thursday in Michigan, they rushed to complain about an alleged lack of masks and social distancing at the event.

Observe:

Missing from their grievances was even a shred of intellectual honesty.

Abigail Marone, a staffer for the president’s 2020 campaign, demonstrated this by contrasting CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s treatment of the president’s rallies with his treatment of the left’s so-called “peaceful protests.”

Look:

Inspired by her tweet, others soon joined in and began sharing other examples of so-called “peaceful protests” that have been condoned by the media.

Look:

“You don’t need masks or social distancing when you are peacefully protesting,” the latter Twitter user sarcastically wrote.

The joke is that so long as people “peacefully protest” under the banner of the extremist Black Lives Matter movement, members of the media will eagerly overlook (and sometimes outright promote) their bad behavior.

But the media aren’t alone in their one-sided games. So-called health experts have also adopted the same unscientific mindset.

After the George Floyd riots erupted in late May, over 1,000 so-called experts who’d previously slammed lockdown protesters for allegedly endangering the lives of grandmothers and grandfathers abruptly performed a 180 and released a letter in support of the “protests” (or, rather, riots).

There’s nothing fair, reasonable and scientific about them basing standards of behavior on whether the people they’re judging share the same ideological views as them.

As for the media, another prime example of their perpetual double standards can be seen in how they reacted when a reporter with The New York Times was allegedly booted from the president’s rally for sharing photos of unmasked attendees on Twitter.

The media predictably got mad.

Look:

Missing again was even a shred of intellectual honesty.

First of all, Black Lives Matter and Antifa extremists frequently boot non-establishment journalists from their so-called “peaceful protests.” Sometimes they even attack said journalists. Yet the mainstream media invariably shrug it off in indifference.

Second, Gray was doing what so-called “journalists” invariably do these days and lied through her teeth. She wasn’t booted from the rally because of her photos.

“According to a source with the Trump campaign, Gray had not applied for credentials through the normal process, was in the general audience acting as a reporter. Their rule is that reporters must stay in the designated press area shortly before the president’s arrival and for the duration of his stay,” Deadline Hollywood has confirmed.

“The reporter was told she could stay in the general admission area, but not while reporting, and she declined. The reporter was then asked to leave the event, the source said.”

Do facts and intellectual honesty matter to the American media? It appears not. As conservative commentator Ben Shapiro oft notes, all that seems to matter to them is the narrative, namely that #OrangeManBad, #OrangeManVeryBad, #BadBadMan.

Unfortunately for them, the thousands of Americans who attended Thursday’s rally and chanted “We Love You” at the president clearly disagree.
