Reporter at deadly scene gives on the ground account, interviewed Kyle Rittenhouse before shooting

Does the truth matter anymore? To those congressional Democrats and mainstream media propagandists who’ve rushed to smear Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old responsible for the alleged killing of two left-wing extremists, the answer is clearly no.

Case in point: Despite there being no evidence to substantiate this outlandish claim, Rep. Ayanna Pressley told her nearly one million Twitter followers on Wednesday that Rittenhouse is a “domestic terrorist” and “white supremacist.”

But according to accounts from Richie McGinniss, a Daily Caller reporter who witnessed the shooting himself, the left-wing narrative surrounding Rittenhouse — that he’s a white supremacist terrorist who’d been out to stir trouble — is patently false.

Speaking late Wednesday on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” McGinniss described how Rittenhouse, 17, told him he had shown up in Kenosha on Tuesday “to maintain peace in the absence of police” and protect business owners from seeing their livelihoods destroyed.

During the first two nights of riots in Kenosha, countless businesses were torched and livelihoods destroyed by the city’s Black Lives Matter-affiliated left-wing extremists.

Likewise, business owners like the man seen below were attacked and nearly killed for the apparent crime of trying to protect their investments:

“I initially encountered the alleged shooter at a business that had been burned the night previously, and we actually saw some of those people who worked at the business and some of the owners of the business trying to put the fires out themselves,” McGinniss said.

“And the next night I encountered the alleged shooter at that business, and I actually asked him a few questions on camera. … So the 17-year-old who I interviewed, he actually mentioned that he was there to maintain peace in the absence of police.”

But it seems peace was impossible to maintain because of the left-wing extremists, who were caught on camera looting stores, burning businesses to the ground, shutting down the streets, and even pointing weapons at the authorities.

It didn’t help that local police were seemingly nowhere to be found.

“We’ve been asking people all around town, you know, business owners who’ve had their places looted, you know, where were the police? And they said, you know, it took two hours, it took an hour, it took the fire department three hours. So definitely they’re there, but they’re obviously not responding in any quick fashion,” McGinniss explained.

The first fatal shooting by Rittenhouse happened after the extremists reportedly chased him into a car dealership’s parking lot and then threw a Molotov cocktail at him.

According to McGinniss, the extremists had begun chasing Rittenhouse after they spotted him wielding an AR-15.

“I saw the same individual in the street drawing a lot of attention due to the fact that he had what I thought was an AR-15 strung over over his shoulder. And so a lot of people were shouting at him, at which point I basically, you know, saw him start to run and heard the shot,” he said.

Additional reports suggest that the extremists around the car dealership had been vandalizing cars and planning on burning down the dealership prior to the shooting.

McGinniss was standing right next to the now-deceased “victim” when the shooting occurred. The video below reportedly shows him rushing to the “victim” immediately after the shooting and using his shirt as a bandage:

While members of the increasingly propaganda-like mainstream establishment media love to love themselves, they have shown no love for McGinniss’s act of heroism, choosing instead to ignore it. Typical.

After the first shooting, Rittenhouse tried to flee but was reportedly chased and eventually collapsed to the ground after apparently tripping.

Right before the extremists reached him, he then opened fire again.

While all the evidence strongly points to Rittenhouse having acted in self-defense while trying to protect the innocent business owners in Kenosha who’ve been relentlessly attacked and terrorized by local left-wing extremists, this evidence hasn’t stopped members of the left, including elected Democrats, from labeling Rittenhouse the veritable harbinger of all evil on Earth.

As the discussion on FNC concluded, host Tucker Carlson added this remark: “Hard to believe this is America; we can’t put up with this!”
