A man was seriously injured when a violent crowd of Portland protesters brutally assaulted him after he crashed his truck in the downtown area.
Disturbing video footage showed the driver of the pickup truck that had crashed being attacked by the mob just blocks from the federal courthouse where protests had again erupted on Sunday. The graphic video showed the man being pulled away from the vehicle and being slammed to the ground.

The unidentified man was reportedly accused by the crowd of trying to run them over with his truck and were allegedly chasing him in the vehicle when he crashed. Police reportedly received emergency calls about the injured man near the intersection of Southwest Broadway and Southwest Taylor Street about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
“The report said protesters were chasing the truck before it crashed, and they assaulted the driver after the crash,” Sgt. Kevin Allen said in a statement on Monday, according to The Washington Post.“The driver was transported to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.”
The shocking video showed the driver getting punched and kicked by the mob in the middle of the road. He was also ordered to remain where he was and not to try and leave, as someone in the video could be heard shouting, “you’re not leaving, bro.”
Kneeling on the ground in the video, the man was punched several times before another man ran up and kicked the driver in the head, appearing to knock him unconscious. As others could be heard yelling for someone to call 911, another person tried to pull the man away from the road.
Officers “encountered a hostile crowd and a squad from the Rapid Response Team responded to help secure the scene while the investigation was underway,” Allen said in his statement.
“With the streets in downtown Portland occupied by BLM & antifa rioters, a man crashed his car. The mob pulled him out & beat him senseless in front of the passenger. He’s bleeding & unconscious. No police,” journalist Andy Ngo tweeted, along with a very graphic video purportedly of the beaten driver.
Ngo, who has been documenting the violence in these nightly protests, also posted other videos that showed the chilling exchange.

“The man who was filmed kicking this man’s head when he was already on the ground wore a vest that says ‘SECURITY.’ He’s part of the marauding BLM security at the protests in Portland. These are the people protesters want to replace police with,” Ngo noted in another tweet.
This is the sociopathy I see every day at the protests and riots in Portland.

The Portland Police Bureau declared a riot around midnight on Sunday as the 80th consecutive night of protests turned violent again. Far-left anarchists trespassed the Penumbra Kelly Building and engaged in “violent, tumultuous conduct,” according to police who were also being pelted with objects by the protesters who ignored warnings to disperse.
Several arrests were made and two officers were reportedly taken to the hospital.
“At the time of this release over 60 calls for police service were holding around the city,” the Police Bureau said in a statement. “Some had been holding for the length of the events described here. Call types ranged from theft, vandalism, suspicious activity, hazards, hit and run, burglary, violation of restraining order, alarms, stolen cars, harassment and many others.”
People are continually throwing softball size rocks, glass bottles and other objects at police. People have spray painted over security cameras and committed other acts of vandalism. People are trespassing on the property.

Ngo posted other disturbing images on Twitter, noting in one video how the anarchists “assault and hit a man walking away from the antifa riot in SE Portland.”
This is what antifa do to people they encounter in the street. Watch them assault and hit a man walking away from the antifa riot in SE Portland. They bring bats precisely for this purpose. #PortlandRiots #antifa Video by @VenturaReport. pic.twitter.com/AfxmVHHk6K
