MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski blasted President Donald Trump on Thursday after he called her a “ditzy airhead” in a tweet panning the show’s dismal ratings.

“Very poor morning TV ratings for MSDNC’s Morning Joe, headed by a complete Psycho named Joe Scarborough and his ditzy airhead wife, Mika, and also CNN, headed by complete unknowns. Congratulations to Fox and Friends on dominating the mornings (thank you, President Trump!), the president tweeted.

The tweet set off Brzezinski as well as her husband and fellow co-host, Joe Scarborough.

“Please stop watching our show, okay?” Scarborough began. “You gotta stop.”

“We gave you a lot of good advice back in March, you didn’t follow any of it, you didn’t listen to your doctors, you didn’t listen to your scientists, you didn’t lay this out for people, and, of course, six months later, yes, you’re losing in the polls,” Scarborough continued.

“You should have listened, but Donald, please turn to Fox & Friends, and keep it there. It’ll be better for you. It’ll be better for your staff. They don’t like you watching our show. and they’re like, ‘why are you drawing more attention to them, Donald?’” the former GOP congressman from Florida added.

“I’d ask you to seek help but I know you’re not going to do that,” he said.

At that, Brzezinski jumped in to castigate the president and accuse him of being afraid of “women.”

“What’s your thing with women? You have a lot of problems with women like you’re scared of them or something. I think the Kamala [Harris] thing has you freaked out. But I’ve noticed it’s all over the place,” she added.

“You get really like stressed out by women. You have to say things that are sort of triggering about women that are like back from the 1950s. You’re calling us ‘housewives’ when you talk about voters. Every time Kaitlyn Collins from CNN or Paula Reid from CBS, every time they ask you a question, you scurry off the stage. You get scared like a little baby,” Brzezinski continued, her voice rising.

Both hosts went on to echo Democrats and blamed the president for COVID-19 deaths, with Brzezinski declaring his performance “disastrous.”

“Stop tweeting about Morning Joe and Morning Mika and do your damn job!” Brzezinski blared.

“Try once to think about getting some testing to the American people. Try once to listen to your scientists. Try once to be a man that actually wants to be a man who wants to lead the country and not a man who’s scared of women and calls them names and scurries off the stage if they ask a question. Pathetic,” she added. “You really should stop watching and get over your problem with women.”

The co-host’s characterization of the president and women is diametrically opposite of Madeleine Westerhout, who was fired by the administration from her job as director of Oval Office operations after inadvertently leaking to reporters during her White House tenure.

In a Fox News interview earlier this week to promote her new book, “Off The Record,” Westerhout explained that “on a rare day off” she went for drinks with a White House colleague and four reporters for “an off-the-record dinner.”

During the meal, “I said some things that I didn’t mean and that I never should have said, and I deeply regret that,” she told Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy.

“But I take full responsibility for my actions that night and really regret that I hurt people that I care about very, very much,” she said.

Westerhout was fired a year ago after allegedly saying that Trump liked her better than his own daughters and that he did not like being in photos with Tiffany Trump because he thinks she’s too heavy.

That said, Westerhout pushed back on claims that Trump is fearful of strong women or that he shuns them.

“The one thing that I found so fascinating about President Trump is his deep admiration and respect for women. He promotes women. He surrounds himself with strong, intelligent women,” she said.

“He is married to one, he has raised two of them, and every interaction that I have seen and I have had with him has been just showing how much President Trump respects women.”
