Fox News host Jeanine Pirro wished Joe Biden well moments after she earned a rebuke from anchor Bret Baier for suggesting the former vice president won’t be on the ticket in November.

Baier openly pushed back at Pirro during a panel discussion on Fox News Channel’s “The Five” after she said she had a “feeling” that the presumptive Democratic nominee would not remain in the running until Election Day. While her remarks may have raised eyebrows for the rest of the Fox News panel, Baier specifically called her out, saying that Biden is “going to be the nominee.”

The discussion on “The Five” Wednesday followed a speech by Biden and his newly named running mate, Sen.  Kamala Harris who began by singing the praises of rioting protesters and looters in the streets as a “coalition of conscience.”

Fox News host Jesse Watters led the discussion about the California Democrat being named as the vice-presidential candidate, noting that “half the Democrats polled don’t even believe Joe Biden is going to finish the first term if he’s elected.”

“What does that tell you about Harris as a pick for vice president?” he asked Pirro.

“Well, I have a lot of thoughts,” the “Justice with Judge Jeanine” host responded.

“The first thought I have is for some reason, I just have this feeling that Joe Biden isn’t going to be on the ticket. I have a sense that something is going to happen before the election and he’s not even going to be on the ticket, so don’t even ask me if he’s going to make the four years,” Pirro said.

She went on to acknowledge that, while it is “momentous” to have Harris chosen as Biden’s Democratic running mate, she does not appreciate anyone “lying” to her. Pirro called out Harris’ criticisms of President Donald Trump during her speech, as she blamed him for destroying the U.S. economy and for mishandling the coronavirus pandemic.

“The President’s mismanagement of the pandemic has plunged us into the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression,” Harris said in her first speech as the vice-presidential candidate. “And we’re experiencing a moral reckoning with racism and historic injustice that has brought a new coalition of conscience to the streets of our country demanding change. America is crying out for leadership.”

After Pirro concluded by calling Harris an “inauthentic candidate,” Watters turned to Baier for his commentary, but addressed Pirro’s remarks momentarily.

“We certainly don’t hope that anything happens to [former] Vice President Joe Biden anytime soon,” he said, moving on to ask Baier about Harris being called a “pragmatic moderate” despite her very liberal record.

But the host of “Special Report” also took aim at Pirro’s words before going on to answer the question.

“Let me say I respect Judge Jeanine’s opinions and her fiery passions about things,” he said with a smile.

“Last night was the last Democratic primary, Connecticut, where 60 delegates went to Joe Biden. So he is going to be the nominee and next week we will see the official nomination,” he added. “You’re saying he doesn’t make it all the way. The bumper stickers are already printed. It is Biden-Harris. He is going to be the nominee next week.”

Following the rest of his comments, Pirro interjected to clarify her words.

“I just want to say something,” the former New York State judge and prosecutor said.

“Look, I wish him all good health, that’s not what I’m talking about,” she added. “He’s got the numbers, but things are so crazy right now, I don’t know what’s happening in the Democrat Party and that’s all I’m saying. I hope he lives forever, that’s not my point. I know he’s got the numbers.”
