The Democrat-controlled city of Portland, Oregon is fining Americans $2,000 an hour until the federal government removes a fence it constructed to protect a federal courthouse that was being vandalized and torched every night by left-wing thugs.
In a statement, Portland City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly slammed the fence as unauthorized and warned that she “intends to collect” on the massive fine that has accrued so far.
Eudaly tweeted: “We are assessing the maximum fine of $500 for every 15 minutes the fence obstructs our street…We intend to collect.”
As of this writing, the fine totals more than $316,000.
The inane “fine” that Eudaly is trying to extort from the federal government would ultimately be paid by U.S. taxpayers — including her.
Yes, I am afraid to direct workers to do their job and enforce our laws against the federal government—I hope that gives everyone reading this pause.

Last week, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (which Eudaly oversees) sent a cease-and-desist letter demanding that the federal government take down the fence.
The federal government erected the fence after Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs repeatedly vandalized and tried to set fire to the federal courthouse.
Chloe Eudaly claims the fence violates the Constitutional rights of the rioters.
Moreover, she has blasted the federal agents who were deployed to quell the nightly Portland riots as “fascists.”
Keep in mind that the vast majority of Portland residents are not rioters. They’re law-abiding citizens who don’t deserve to live in a war zone because the city has been hijacked by violent thugs.
Left-wing rioters have repeatedly tried to breach the fence and have thrown projectiles at it.
The “peaceful protesters” also set fires at the fence and around the federal courthouse.
Reminder: Federal courthouses belong to ALL AMERICANS, not just Antifa and Black Lives Matter Marxists.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said the reason why his Democrat-run city has not erupted into violent protests like other leftist cities is because the police refuse to bend the knee to left-wing mobs.
“We don’t retreat here in Detroit. We’re just not gonna do it,” Craig told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “You saw the images … of streets where there was lawlessness, looting, burning. No sign of police officers. We weren’t giving up ground to the radicals. We just didn’t do it.”
In stark contrast to Portland, Chief Craig says citizens of Detroit are “fed up with these radical protests.”
“We got a great police department, great leadership, but we have a community that stands with us and said, ‘enough is enough!'” Chief Craig said. “Our mayor stands with this police chief, stands with this police department. We are not going to tolerate this uptick in violence. That’s key.”
Fox News host Tucker Carlson and millions of Americans understand that the chaos and violent riots have nothing to do with “black lives mattering” and everything to do with the November election.
Democrats and their media minions think if they can terrify Americans enough, they’ll vote President Trump out.
That’s why they’re overhyping the coronavirus, stoking a race war, and fomenting nightly riots.
