Brad Parscale was demoted as Trump’s campaign manager and replaced by veteran GOP strategist Bill Stepien in a shakeup that shocked some insiders, who say the move will cement a Trump reelection.
President Trump noted that Parscale will remain a senior advisor to the campaign, as well as its digital czar. Parscale’s ingenious digital strategy was credited for helping Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Trump tweeted: “I am pleased to announce that Bill Stepien has been promoted to the role of Trump Campaign Manager. Brad Parscale, who has been with me for a very long time and has led our tremendous digital and data strategies, will remain in that role, while being a Senior Advisor to the campaign. Both were heavily involved in our historic 2016 win, and I look forward to having a big and very important second win together.”
Two campaign officials told Fox News that Parscale will now focus exclusively on managing digital operations, which were crucial to Trump’s victory four years ago.
Some in the Trump camp told Fox that they were “shocked” but not totally surprised by Parscale’s abrupt demotion, since Trump had three campaign managers during his 2016 run.
Insiders point out that President Trump is not afraid to impulsively switch gears in order to get the desired result.
“This doesn’t surprise anyone who knows POTUS and how he wants his campaign run,” a top campaign official said.

Insiders say Bill Stepien will be an excellent campaign manager because he’s an “experienced operative” and a “really hard worker” who’s “married to his job.”
Unlike the outspoken 6-foot-8 Brad Parscale, Stepien prefers to keep a low profile.
“Bill’s MO is to keep under the radar and keep his head down and stay focused on the job,” one source said. “He knows his role is to be the guy behind the guy.”
Meanwhile, Parscale will return to doing what he does best, which is managing digital operations.
“Brad is the best in the business when it comes to data, but he’s not a political operative,” a source said. “Stepien is one of the best political operatives in the country and innately understands data and field and its integration and how to use that to move votes.
Speculation swirled for weeks that Parscale might be replaced following the debacle at President Trump’s Tulsa rally last month.
In the days leading up to the rally, Parscale tweeted that the event had received one million signups. The left-wing media later mocked President Trump because the rally had rows of empty seats.
Some blamed Parscale for the snafu, but videos showed that many Trump supporters were physically blocked from entering the venue by roving mobs of Black Lives Matter thugs.
Many leftists also signed up for the rally, grabbing hundreds of tickets at a time. They didn’t show up to the rally as part of a massive, coordinated prank to troll President Trump.
The “Bronx Bolshevik” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even gloated about the prank on Twitter.

While political polls (which routinely over-sample Democrats) have President Trump trailing Joe Biden, keep in mind that these same polls were wrong in 2016.
Political scientist Helmut Norpoth said polls are meaningless. The key metric to focus on is a candidate’s success in his party’s primary elections. And those results project another Trump win, Norpoth said.
Norpoth — who accurately predicted the winner of the past six presidential elections — confidently projects that Trump has a 91% chance of winning in November.
