A Rose Garden presser held Tuesday by President Donald Trump following his signing of sanctions against China quickly veered off-topic and became mainly about presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden.
The way the president made the dovetail was admittedly clever. While he initially began by speaking about his sanctions against China as per its “repressive actions” against the people of Hong Kong, he quickly jumped to talking about China’s massive failures regarding the coronavirus pandemic. And from there, he then jumped to Biden.
“[W]e hold China fully responsible for concealing the virus and unleashing it upon the world. Could have stopped it, they should have stopped. It would have been very easy to do at the source when it happened. In contrast, Joe Biden’s entire career has been a gift to the Chinese Communist Party and to the calamity of errors that they’ve made,” he said.

And from there the president unleashed by detailing every sordid aspect of Biden’s decades-long career, from his gross overtures to China to his son Hunter Biden’s sordid business dealings in both China and Ukraine.
“For years, 47 years, he never came out against China, never say anything bad. Just the opposite. His son walked out with $1.5 billion of money to invest where he’ll make hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe millions of dollars a year, walked out with $1.5 billion,” he said.
“In Ukraine he got $83,000 a month and I guess an upfront payment of $3 million. So he went from not having a job to getting $83,000 a month with a lot of money paid upfront to work for Burisma. And you all know about Burisma, but nothing happens, nobody cares.”
That’s true. Every scandal involving Biden has been buried, dismissed or ignored, with the establishment left — which controls most of the airways — always instead focusing on the alleged (and virtually always debunked) scandals against the president.
Later during the presser, the president encapsulated the importance of the 2020 race with a couple very simple but meaningful words.
“Biden’s gone radical left. … [T]here’s never been a time when two candidates were so different,” he said.

While what the president said was accurate — Biden’s vision for America is the polar opposite of Trump’s vision — his remarks nevertheless provoked backlash from the former VP’s campaign.
“Today’s statement that was ostensibly supposed to be about China, but there was one topic that President Trump couldn’t seem to get off his mind: Joe Biden, whose name the President invoked nearly 30 times. The whole sad affair says more about Donald Trump than he said about any particular topic,” the campaign said in a statement.
“What we heard in the Rose Garden today wasn’t a president at all. It was a politician who sees his reelection slipping away from him and who is furious that his own botched response to the coronavirus pandemic has denied him the campaign events he so craves.”
The campaign added that American taxpayers “should be reimbursed for the abuse of funds this spectacle represented” and praised Biden for being a so-called “real leader.”
“He offered the American people a positive, inspiring vision for our future where we don’t have to choose between confronting our existential climate crisis and creating millions of good-paying, union jobs at the same time,” the campaign continued, pointing to a speech of his own Biden had apparently delivered earlier.
And there it is. Biden is interested in dealing with so-called climate change, propping up abusive unions (at the expense of non-union workers), sucking up to the Black Lives Matter cult, forcing all Americans to wear masks and humoring the widely panned and dangerous proposals of radicals such as Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.
Conversely, the president’s been focused on reducing barriers to economic growth, pushing back on overregulation, curtailing the size and scope of government, pursuing better trade deals, appointing constitutional originalists to the federal bench, protecting constitutional rights and allowing the American people to control their own lives.
As the president himself said, “[T]here’s never been a time when two candidates were so different.”
Biden is controlled by the radical left.

But which vision is right for America? Failed Alabama congressional candidate Jeff Sessions says it’s Trump’s vision.
“American people are not happy” with the left’s agenda on immigration, trade and other issues, he reportedly said in a concession speech Tuesday after losing to Trump-backed challenger Tommy Tuberville.
“American people are not happy that we’ve allowed China to dominate our trade situation, and they have massive trade surpluses with us. … And I think we’ve got involved in too many wars that don’t have an end to them, have not served the national interest, and hasn’t even helped the people we thought we were trying to help. In all those areas, the American people are right in my opinion,” he said.
“They’re essentially correct. And I think it’s time for this Republican party to listen to the Donald Trump agenda, because he’s talked about those things frankly and openly, and I think they were huge factors in his ability to win that past election. And if he gets on message and stays on it, stays on those principle positions, I think he’ll be in a position to come back and win this election.”
