No surprise, but it would appear that Black Lives Matter activists believe they are above the law.

A “protester” was arrested near the White House on Tuesday, on the newly named “Black Lives Matter Plaza,” after punching a man identified on social media as a supporter of President Donald Trump in the face.

Police were right there and watched the assault take place, before quickly reacting to take the assailant into custody.

Not happy with the turn of events, other BLM protesters — mostly white — attempt to intervene as officers begin loading the suspect in a police van.

With the liberal media in their corner, not to mention the entire Democratic Party and much of corporate America, Black Lives Matter activists are as emboldened as ever, as seen in the video below.

The treatment left-wing politicians expect law enforcement to endure is shameful, and extends well beyond protesting and free speech.

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser had the street renamed, at the same time the Democrat initiated the painting of “Black Lives Matter” in huge yellow letters on the roadway.

Meanwhile, as cops are forced to babysit lawless Gen Z thugs, the city is proposing a $15 million cut to the police budget as murders are up 21% this year over 2019, with 93 homicides reported so far, according to WJLA.

Yet, BLM chaos continues to be the order of the day in Washington, DC.

Another video making the rounds showed a group of visiting Nevada students being accosted by an aggressive black man near the White House on the 4th of July.

“F— your cracker ass,” the man is heard telling the young students.

“You have to be racist. Or you’re delusional. Or you’re stupid. Which one is it?” the man also said.

Ironically, according to the mother of one of the teenagers, the group had just left the Martin Luther King Jr. monument.

Kira Prince told the Washington Examiner the teens had just visited the Martin Luther King Jr. monument — she said another man had just grabbed some Trump hats from a few of the kids and threw them over a nearby wall.

“For him to do that to a bunch of kids who are mostly minors, is just, it’s not something I’m sure [MLK] would want to be proud of,” Prince said. “But it feels like we’re driven to this place where no one understands each other. And you don’t know how I live. I don’t know how you live. Instead of trying to make it better, it’s just creating more of a divide and more of getting away from what America was founded on.”
