The NFL will play the “black national anthem” before all Week 1 games of the 2020-2021 season as the National Football League continues caving to race-baiting, leftist mobs.
Most Americans never even knew that a “black national anthem” existed since black and white civil-rights activists fought for decades to end racial segregation.
However, since segregation is a goal of the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement, the “black national anthem” will be played before the Star-Spangled Banner at all Week 1 NFL games.
A gospel song called “Lift Every Voice and Sing” is considered the black national anthem, Fox News reported. In the NFL’s season opener on Sept. 10, the Houston Texans will play the Kansas City Chiefs in Missouri.
This latest appeasement stunt is part of the NFL’s campaign to bend the knee to leftist mobs. It started in June, when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed support for the anti-white, anti-police Black Lives Matter movement.

Goodell also apologized to unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick for previously condemning his disrespect of the Star-Spangled Banner.
Reminder: Kaepernick’s disrespect of the American flag and the national anthem caused NFL ratings to tank and game attendance to crater.
But the NFL obviously hasn’t learned its lesson about not bringing toxic politics into sports — which fans watch for fun.

Goodell said: “Without black players, there would be no National Football League. We are listening. I am listening, and I will be reaching out to players who have raised their voices and others on how we can improve and go forward for a better and more united NFL family.”
Roger Goodell also urged reluctant NFL teams to hire Colin Kaepernick, even though the 32-year-old former quarterback has not played pro football since 2016.
The NFL’s decision to elevate the so-called “black national anthem” ignited backlash on social media.
Black Trump supporter Melissa Tate tweeted: “Black National Anthem” is offensive to me as black person. It assumes b/c I am black the national anthem doesn’t apply to me. America has only ONE national Anthem that is represents ALL Americans of every race color and creed. The left wants division and balkanization for POWER.”

Former Congressman Allen West, a retired lieutenant colonel in the Army, slammed the NFL for “surrendering” to the “Marxist Black Lives Matter mob.”
“It is very appalling that you would have these corporations and these sports franchises like the NFL that are cowering, acquiescing, and surrendering to a Marxist mob, which is what Black Lives Matter is,” West said.
West continued: “The only reason why someone like Drew Brees apologizes, or Roger Goodell gets on his knees…is because they don’t have the courage to stand up and say what needs to be said. They continue to believe that you can appease the mob. But the mob will never be happy.”

In addition to providing federal funding to black colleges FOREVER and bolstering black employment, Trump called the father of the black teen who was killed by leftist thugs in Seattle’s police-free CHOP zone.
Horace Anderson’s father said President Trump called him to express his condolences, but Seattle’s Democrat mayor, Jenny Durkan, ignored him.
“I still ain’t heard from the Mayor,” Mr. Anderson said. “Incredibly, Donald Trump called. The President of the United States called me.”
