While it’s apt to receive zero coverage from the mainstream press, which has been busy obsessing over President Donald Trump’s tweets, on Saturday extremists affiliated with the Black Lives Matter and/or Antifa movements rioted throughout Portland, Oregon.

Media footage captured by local journalist Andy Ngo showed BLM extremists chasing and attacking alleged “fascists,” attacking police officers and targeting statues.

Look:

Video footage also showed the extremists tearing down the American flag from the Multnomah County Justice Center and replacing it with a Black Lives Matter sign.

Watch:

The center reportedly houses the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, the Multnomah County Detention Center and four circuit courts. In short, it’s a government building, and the flag that was torn down was a government-owned flag.

Riots have engulfed Portland for weeks now, though they’ve received virtually no coverage from mainstream outlets such as CNN and The New York Times.

According to local police, in recent days the rioting and left-wing extremism has grown “more aggressive and violent than those seen in weeks past.”

About two weeks ago, the extremists locked local authorities inside the Justice Center:

Then this past Thursday, they set a police station on fire.

Community members and city leaders came together Friday afternoon to condemn the violence, looting and vandalism that took place Thursday night and into Friday morning in Northeast Portland,” local station KGW reported Friday.

Police say a group of people set the Portland Police Bureau’s North Precinct on fire while people were inside, and damaged and burned nearby businesses, all of which are owned by people of color, during an hourslong clash with police officers.”

“The acts that took place here last night are not only reprehensible, but they are evil,” Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell said in a statement. “There are people inside these buildings we are trying to protect. It needs to stop and stop today.”

Sadly, it hasn’t …

It doesn’t help that the BLM mantra has been adopted by every major corporation and institution in America, including the mainstream establishment media.

Instead of highlighting the crimes being committed by BLM extremists and helping the authorities hold them accountable, members of the press have been aiming their criticism at those who are trying to do these things, including the president.

After President Donald Trump tweeted out “wanted” posters of some of the BLM/Antifa extremists across the country who’ve been rioting, the media threw a fit.

Yet no fits have been thrown about the hell faced by people such as Noha Kassab, a downtown Portland business owner whose family’s jewelry store that they’d spend four decades growing was robbed by BLM extremists last week.

Watch surveillance footage from the robbery below:

“In a survey conducted by the Portland Business Alliance, 93 downtown business owners ballparked their losses at more than $23 million in 2020. While most of that was lost revenue, due to the coronavirus shutdown, more than $4.8 million was in property damage suffered in the [ongoing] riot[s],” The Oregonian reported Saturday.
