Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks and star of “Shark Tank,” told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Tuesday evening that he “absolutely” believes presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has the mental wherewithal and strength to run the country better than President Donald Trump.

“Do you believe that he has the strength, the stamina, the mental acuity, the alertness to be taking on what is the toughest job in the world, being the president of the United States?” the “Hannity” host asked to kick off the interview. “Do you in your heart believe he does?”

“One hundred percent,” Cuban said, incredulously. “Absolutely. No question about it.

“Donald Trump doesn’t want to run a country,” Cuban continued, “he wants to run a campaign. Joe Biden actually wants to run a country.”

Hannity dismissed that as a “bumper sticker” response, but acknowledged that in previous appearances when the two discussed President Trump, Cuban was “honest” in that he praised some of what he’s accomplished as well.

The host then noted that over a multi-decade—span in politics, much of what Biden has talked about and discussed regarding criminal justice and police reforms — a nod to the current unrest over alleged ‘systemic’ abuse of minorities by officers — Trump has actually addressed those issues.

In addition, Hannity noted that Trump has established “opportunity zones” for inner-city entrepreneurs, and that during their eight years in office, former President Obama and his vice president, Biden, didn’t.

Also, “Donald Trump gave us record low after record low unemployment for every minority group in the country — not Joe and not Barack,” Hannity continued, as Cuban began to crosstalk.

“You gave me bumper stickers,” Cuban interjected.

“Those are facts!” Hannity shot back.

“You can say that about every single Republican senator right this moment,” Cuban added.

“Okay, but they’re not running for president,” Hannity responded. “Joe’s been in office for 50 years, he was vice president for eight years. Trump did that, not Joe. So tell me what Joe has done that you’re proud of that qualifies him to be president after 50 years.”

Cuban’s answer seemed lame, noting that Biden represented Delaware, not Cuban’s home state of Texas.

“He was your vice president,” Hannity pointed out.

“Sean, the question you ask when you vote for somebody is, what are they going to do for the country?” Cuban said.

“He was the vice president!” Hannity insisted.

“Okay, he was a big part of Obamacare, the ACA,” Cuban said. “Here we are, Sean, you’ve got millions, if not tens of millions, of people losing their employer’s insurance. Donald Trump hasn’t said a word.”

Hannity correctly pointed out that Trump began trying to fix the problems with the ACA in “year one” of his term. And it should be pointed out that Obamacare never did live up to the standards both Obama and Biden promised — namely, universal coverage, lower healthcare premiums, lower deductibles, and all Americans getting to keep their own doctors.

As to Cuban’s claim that millions are now without employer-provided healthcare, that’s because employers were forced to shut down for months due to coronavirus — shutdowns that were extended time and again by Democrat mayors and governors. Not all states elected to shut down.

Amid continuing crosstalk, Cuban asserted that Obama and Biden “solved” problems including the “Great Recession,” adding that Trump has had “bumps” of good news.

Hannity countered that Trump, in three years, managed, pre-coronavirus, to set one economic record after another, including topping out the stock market and putting “record numbers” of women and minorities to work.

The host also noted that last month, a record number of Americans — 2.5 million — went back to work while retail sales jumped a record amount as well.

“It’s like I explained to my kids,” Cuban said, “when your bank account goes from $10 to $1, then it goes to $2, you can say you’ve doubled your bank account but you were still down 80 percent.”
