‘They’re stone-cold crazy!’ Trump sets clear marker between himself and ‘radical’ Democrats in November

President Donald Trump was back in his element Saturday night at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma — the irony of the evening being that the president dominated the news cycle, even as the liberal media worked overtime to call attention to a less than full arena to suggest he was somehow less relevant.

“We begin,” Trump said at the outset of his first rally since the pandemic. “We begin our campaign.”

As energetic and brash as ever, the president set a clear marker between himself and presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, who he insisted was  “a helpless puppet of the radical left.”

“The choice in 2020 is very simple,” Trump said. “Do you want to bow before the leftwing mob or do you want to stand up tall and proud as Americans?”

Seizing on the Black Lives Matter riots seen in a number of Democrat-run cities in America, where violence, looting and destruction were the order of the day, Trump ripped extremist Democrats for the over-the-top demands put forth to appease the rage mob.

“They want to demolish your heritage so they can impose their new oppressive regime in its place,” he charged. “In its place, they want to defund and dissolve our police departments. Think of that — when I heard it for the first time two weeks ago, I said well, that one, I mean they’re only kidding.”

“They’re not!” Trump then exclaimed.

Trump mentioned the city of Minneapolis, where George Floyd was killed — the city council recently voted to disband the police department. He then lays out a scenario where “a very tough hombre” breaks into someone’s home in the middle of the night and they call 911, only to be told the number’s “no longer working.”

(Naturally, he would be called a racist for using the Spanish equivalent of “man.”)

The remark about 911 no longer working was one of many that got the Trump-hating media worked up, though it was an intentional exaggeration, a dramatic flare to call attention to the end result of having no police.

“This is a serious movement, and in Minneapolis the council has already passed it,” he added. “In Seattle, you see what’s going on there, it’s even worse.”

“These people are stone-cold crazy,” Trump declared.

The crowd responded with a roar, enthusiastically expressing their agreement.

After watching the great cultural cleansing underway, and the insanity playing out in the streets night after night, where statutes of Union generals are being attacked along with Confederate figures, where George Washington and Thomas Jefferson fail to pass muster with hard-left anarchists and revolutionaries who hate America, voters would be hard-pressed to disagree.

“So if you want to save your heritage, you want to save that beautiful heritage of ours — we have a great heritage, we’re a great country…,” Trump said.

“You are so lucky I’m president, that’s all I can tell you,” he half-jokingly added, to the roar of the crowd.

At one point, he suggested Congress should create a one-year jail term for anyone who burned an American flag.

In contrast, Trump said that Joe Biden is “a willing Trojan Horse for socialism.”

He also told those gathered what they can expect if Biden somehow manages to win in November.

“In Joe Biden’s America, rioters, looters, and criminal aliens have more rights than law-abiding citizens,” Trump said. “An emboldened left will launch a full-scale assault on American life. They’ll expel anyone who disagrees with them.”

In calling attention to the size of the crowd, there was little mention in the media of the vast online audience. The Trump campaign set the figure at 4 million, and that does not include television viewers.
