Old tweets from the “warlord” of the radical Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, Washington created an ironic twist to the narrative as they were uncovered on social media.
Seattle based rapper Solomon “Raz” Simone has essentially declared himself and some friends the new police of the encampment covering six blocks of downtown Seattle. Videos and photos have shown the 30-year-old activist posing with weapons and patrolling the “cop-free” area.
Raz Simone, a Seattle local, stated he belongs to the “People’s Force,” a replacement for Seattle PD in #FreeCapitolHill. On June 8th in a live video he advised that unfamiliar faces should be stopped, questioned, and checked to see if they’re armed, similar to “Stop and Frisk.” pic.twitter.com/QsM5YR0xuW

But Simone is now under fire for old homophobic tweets found on his Twitter account which have left him on the defensive.

Simone was soon denying the tweets were his, claiming his account was hacked much like MSNBC’s Joy Reid did when she claimed in 2018 that anonymous hackers were behind the offensive posts on her old blog.
Someone is creating fake tweets from my page somehow… fake tweets that seem like they’re from the past and they’re from my account somehow smh y’all are ridiculous…
— Raz Simone (@RazSimone) June 11, 2020
But the seemingly legitimate tweets kept coming as the rapper’s social media history was revisited.
Here’s just one archive that proves you are a liar and a fraud. https://t.co/dj5UDKfCdi

Here’s another archived tweet of yours, YOU FRAUD. https://t.co/Ek7N83bMLL

Twitter users pointed out why Simone’s excuse of being hacked did not hold water.
There is no way to fake the time stamps. It’s baked into the tweet ID with the following formula:
Tweet_id to Unix: ((tweet_id >> 22) + 1288834974657)
This gives you a Unix timestamp that you can convert to human time.
Unix: 1291761648624
Human: 20101207224048 pic.twitter.com/Hc14hNGsxB— Qriist (@Scrounged9) June 11, 2020
So someone hacked Google’s archiving system, too? The internet is forever, pal. pic.twitter.com/WlVMy3dqB4

“Never have I ever. I’m from Seattle. I definitely never tweeted that. That would be the dumbest thing I could ever do,” he tweeted claiming, “I wasn’t even on twitter in 2010.”
That says other wise….. pic.twitter.com/c7QCrm5sKw

Some of Simone’s other tweets with offensive content have apparently remained on his account.
The hip hop artists and leftists organizer claimed he was “not a Terrorist Warlord” after President Trump’s condemnation of the lawlessness in a tweet saying, “Domestic Terrorists have taken over Seattle, run by Radical Left Democrats, of course. LAW & ORDER!”
The President really put a hit on my head. I’m not a Terrorist Warlord. Quit spreading that false narrative. The world has NEVER been ready for a strong black man. We have been peaceful and nothing else. If I die don’t let it be in vain. pic.twitter.com/HSEs5C2QRv
— Raz Simone (@RazSimone) June 11, 2020
But a video posted on Twitter this week showed Simone assaulting a graffiti artist in the so-called CHAZ area.
A Seattle local named Raz Simone established himself and his crew as the police of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. He’s a warlord, and his crew is assaulting anyone who steps out of line.
Unlike real police, there’s no accountability or discipline. It’s just violence. pic.twitter.com/196ZiN2Ihh

Twitter users mocked Simone’s claims of being hacked and many wondered how long it would be before the “warlord” would be “canceled.”
Quit lying bro. We got the archives saved. The tweets are real.

Cancel him.
— Rick Z (@MrZab) June 11, 2020
Yes, but aside from this he’s just the sort of gentleman you’d want as warlord of your nihilist fantasy commune, is he not?
— Johann Climacus (@ClimacusJohann) June 13, 2020
Why is he even verified? He is cancelled. ❤️ Karma!

Tune in tomorrow to see if the new warlord is a victim of the cancel culture or… if he’s forgiven because he’s a lefty.
