A Florida lawyer and Democratic activist who donned a Grim Reaper costume amid the coronavirus pandemic is apparently ignoring his own warnings.
Gone are the robe and scythe Daniel Uhlfelder sported when he shamed beachgoers who took advantage of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reopening select beaches last month. Now the man who launched the “Florida Grim Reaper Tour” is wearing an “I Can’t Breathe” T-shirt instead, posting photos and video from crowded protests being held following the death of George Floyd.
“Don’t forget to practice social distancing,” Uhlfelder had admonished in early May as the COVID-19 outbreak raged.

Uhlfelder filed a lawsuit against Florida’s Republican governor to keep the beaches closed, and then announced he was raising funds for his MakeMyDay PAC, and giving the donations to Democrat candidates across the country.

But he has apparently ditched his coronavirus tour, as well as his fears, to join the new cause of Black Lives Matter protests.
“Defuniak springs, Florida. Huge crowd. Stay hopeful and stay strong,” Uhlfelder tweeted from a rally in the Florida panhandle on Sunday.

“More videos from today’s Black Live Matters protest in Miami,” he shared a day earlier. “Thanks for all your support in helping get water delivered to this important event.”

He shared other videos from crowded events where social distancing was not even on anyone’s mind, including at a protest in front of Trump National Doral Miami.

For some reason, the Walton County attorney continued to post the latest number of coronavirus cases in the state, blaming DeSantis for a spike and claiming he has “blood on his hands.”
Florida has 28 new COVID reported deaths and 1,250 new reported cases. A record week for sure. Florida Governor Ron desantis has blood on his hands. https://t.co/ABc95T2OGl

Yesterday marked the most Florida COVID-19 cases reported in a single calendar day, with 1,433 confirmed new cases.

Uhlfelder is another in a long list of hypocritical lockdown supporters during the coronavirus pandemic, with liberals in media and in government positions raging by the hour on the dangers of emerging from homes and opening economies while applying different standards for themselves.
And while the left sang the praises of the World Health Organization, mainly because President Trump targeted its incompetence, the agency again appeared confused about the disease. The head of WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, said Monday that the spread of COVID-19 by asymptomatic people is “very rare.” On Tuesday, she backtracked and said it’s a “really complex question,” citing models indicating that as much as 40% of coronavirus transmissions may be from asymptomatic cases.
Meanwhile, Twitter users were quick to call out Uhlfelder.

If only those families staying 10’+ apart from the other families realized they could’ve had Social Justice Immunity from COVID, you wouldn’t have had to do your silly little stunt.

Thank God Covid can only kill people on beaches.
