President Donald Trump had a little fun on Memorial Day eve poking at predecessor Barack Obama, who finally endorsed his former running mate and vice president Joe Biden.

Taking to Twitter, the president shared a short video clip that played off a specific quote from Obama’s endorsement, interjecting clips highlighting the corruption and gaffes associated with the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee.

The former president is seen on screen declaring, “We need Americans of goodwill to unite in a great awakening against a politics that too often has been characterized by corruption, carelessness, self-dealing, disinformation, ignorance, and just plain meanness.”

As Obama mentions “politics that too often has been characterized by corruption,” the screen cuts away to report about Biden’s son Hunter being hired by the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings — Hunter was paid up to $80,000 a month to sit on its board.

The next word out of Obama’s mouth is “carelessness,” which prompts a cutaway to Biden saying “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

“Self-dealing” is then uttered, as the screen cuts to Biden threatening to withhold $1 billion from Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma Holdings for corruption.

As for “disinformation,” viewers are reminded of Biden”s yarn about gangster “Corn Pop” being a “bad dude.” And “ignorance” drew a clip of the Biden town hall on CNN, where the candidate talked about “gay bathhouses” and ”round-the-clock sex” being how gay men were perceived 15-20 years ago.

Finally, in response to “meanness,” Biden is seen getting aggressive over a reporter’s question.

Keep in mind that Obama did a little trolling of his own in February, posting a tweet on President’s Day that essentially took credit for the booming Trump economy — at least until the coronavirus pandemic.

So it’s not entirely out of the question that Trump was simply reciprocating.

In all likelihood, the president is likely looking to keep Obama’s name in the news cycle as the country awaits the results of an effort to investigate the investigators.

U.S. Attorney John Durham, who was appointed by Attorney General Bill Barr, is reportedly going “full throttle” with his review into the origins of the investigation into the Russia-Trump collusion hoax.

A criminal investigation that is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the summer.

Meanwhile, with the FBI being exposed for trying to set up former national security advisor Mike Flynn, the former president’s name has been surfacing more and more — with a presidential boost, the hashtag #Obamagate was recently trending.

“These are dirty politicians and dirty cops and some horrible people and hopefully they’re going to pay a big price in the not too distant future,” Trump said earlier this month during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

President Trump wasn’t all fun and games Sunday night, as he responded harshly to an ad that the Biden campaign put out over the weekend criticizing him for playing a round of golf.

An activity that also doubles as “exercise,” the president informed the campaign.

He also took at shot at Biden’s actions as vice president and reminded Democrats of Obama’s love for the game, which included playing immediately after speaking about ISIS beheading American journalist James Foley.
