A security guard at a Family Dollar store in the Democrat-run city of Flint, Michigan was shot to death after asking a shopper to wear a face mask to curb the transmission of the coronavirus.

Authorities said security guard Calvin Munerlyn, 43, was shot in the head after getting into an argument with Sharmel Teague, 45. At the time, Teague was shopping in a Family Dollar store.

According to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton: “Sharmel Teague and Munerlyn, who worked as a security guard, got into a verbal altercation after Munerlyn told Teague she needed to wear a face mask while inside the store.”

Teague allegedly reacted by “yelling at Munerlyn and spit at him. And Munerlyn told her to leave the store and instructed a cashier not to serve her.”

She then left the store. Twenty minutes later, Sharmel returned to the Family Dollar store with her husband Larry Teague, 45, and her 23-year-old son, Ramonyea Bishop.

The men allegedly confronted the security guard. During the argument, Ramonyea Bishop allegedly shot Munerlyn in the back of the head.

Munerlyn was taken to a local hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly afterward. Police say Sharmel’s son was the shooter, but she and her husband are considered accomplices.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton called the murder senseless and tragic.

“Those responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent under the law,” Leyton said. “From all indications, Mr. Munerlyn was simply doing his job in upholding the Governor’s Executive Order related to the COVID-19 pandemic for the safety of store employees and customers. It is important that the Governor’s order be respected and adhered to and for someone to lose their life over it is beyond comprehension.”

Munerlyn’s family and friends held a candlelight vigil over the weekend. The event drew 150 people, including his mother, Bernadett Munerlyn.

Sharmel Teague was arrested on charges of first-degree premeditated murder and felony firearm possession. However, her husband and son remain at large. The two men are considered armed and dangerous.

The media have repeatedly slammed Trump supporters who peacefully protest lockdowns, but ignore or downplay instances when liberals violate lockdown orders.

In left-wing New York City (the corona epicenter), hundreds of people flooded local parks in downtown Manhattan over the weekend.

Many did not wear face masks, nor did not they practice social-distancing according to Twitter photos. Where was the media outrage?

Meanwhile, Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer slammed the armed anti-lockdown protesters who demonstrated peacefully last week as racist white supremacists.

Predictably, she’s curiously silent about this fatal shooting of a black security guard who got killed for trying to enforce her executive orders.
