Biden’s sexual assault accuser calls for complaint records to be released: ‘Why are they under seal?’

Joe Biden’s sexual assault accuser, Tara Reade, is calling for the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee and former senator to authorize the University of Delaware to release locked-away staff records pertaining to his 36 years in the Senate.

In interviews this week, she said these records may contain the official complaint form she filed after Biden allegedly sexually assaulted her in 1993.

I’m calling for the release of the documents being held by the University of Delaware that contain Biden’s staff personnel records because I believe it will have my complaint form, as well as my separation letter and other documents,” she said Tuesday to Fox News.

Maybe if other staffers that have tried to file complaints would come to light — why are they under seal? And why won’t they be released to the public?

She’s maintained that after Biden allegedly assaulted her in ’93, she complained verbally to three fellow Biden staffers and then filed an official complaint with the “Senate personnel office.” While she doesn’t still have a copy of the complaint, she’s confident it may be tucked away in Biden’s official Senate records.

“Joe Biden, I want you to release all the personnel records from 1973 to 2009 and be transparent about your office practices,” she added in a statement to The Daily Caller.

“I would like to hold you accountable for what happened to me, to how your staff protected you and enabled you, bullied me multiple times into silence. You ended my career. You ended my job after you assaulted me. You claim to be the champion of women’s rights, but your public persona does not match your personal actions.”

The University of Delaware has thus far refused to provide anybody with access to the former senator’s records.

“The collection of former Vice President Biden’s senatorial papers is still being processed, with many items yet to be cataloged,” a spokesperson said this week in an email to Fox News. “The entire collection will remain closed to the public until two years after Mr. Biden retires from public life.”

Meanwhile, the evidence against Biden continues to grow, with it already considerably outweighing the flimsy “evidence” that was used two years ago by Democrats and their media allies to publicly flay then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh — and despite so much counter-evidence against accuser Christine Blasey Ford.

Unlike Ford, who was a Democrat accusing a Republican of sexual assault (allegedly in part because of her concerns about Kavanaugh potentially voting to overturn Roe v. Wade), Reade is a Democrat accusing a fellow Democrat of assault.

Unlike Ford, who was unable to prove she’d ever even meet Kavanaugh, Reade definitely worked in Biden’s office from Dec. 1992 to Aug. 1993.

Unlike Ford, who repeatedly changed her story, Reade’s story has remained consistent since day one.

Unlike Ford, who never requested a police investigation into Kavanaugh, Reade did request an investigation into Biden.

“This is an active, ongoing investigation, and there are no further details to provide at this time,” the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department confirmed in a statement last week.

“Cases that are handled by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit go through a multi-review prior to being assigned a disposition. This case is progressing through the review process.”

And unlike with Ford, who cited a slew of witnesses who were unable to corroborate any of her claims (and some who wound up accusing her of being a liar), Reade’s witnesses have all backed her allegations, including her mother, her brother, a former neighbor and a former colleague.

“I remember [Reade] saying, here was this person that she was working for and she idolized him,” the former neighbor, Lynda LaCasse, said to Business Insider this week.

“And he kind of put her up against a wall. And he put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her. She felt like she was assaulted, and she really didn’t feel there was anything she could do.”

The most powerful witness may be Reade’s deceased mother, who video evidence proves called into CNN’s “Larry King Live” in 1993 to broach “problems” her daughter had endured while “working for a prominent senator.”

“I’m wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington?” she said. “My daughter has just left there, after working for a prominent senator, and could not get through with her problems at all, and the only thing she could have done was go to the press, and she chose not to do it out of respect for him.”

Watch:

Despite the growing evidence, Biden continues to denies that anything ever happened. The alleged sexual assault “absolutely did not happen,” his campaign said in a statement earlier this month.
