National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s ties to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have raised concerns among some conservatives about his objectivity as the Trump administration’s coronavirus point man.
These ties have been documented through various pieces of “evidence” that have been disseminated by conservative investigators, including New York Post contributor Paul Sperry.
The latest piece of “evidence” is FEC documentation reportedly showing that Fauci’s wife donated $1,200 to Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign:
***BREAKING NEWS*** FEC records show the wife of NIH Dr. Anthony Fauci, who’s clashed with Trump over COVID-19 strategy, is a Democrat who donated at least $1,200 to Hillary for America & Hillary Victory Fund in 2016 campaign vs. Trump. Dr. Fauci wrote 2013 email praising Hillary

Another piece of evidence is emails Fauci sent to Clinton during her tenure in the State Department from 2009 to 2013. These emails are part of the catalog of Clinton server emails that have been released by WikiLeaks.
In one email sent in January of 2013 to then-State Department counselor Cheryl Mills, Fauci praised Clinton for persevering through several illnesses she’d suffered at the time.
“Anyone who had any doubts about the Secretary’s stamina and capability following her illness had those doubts washed away by today’s performance before the Senate and the House,” he wrote.
“She faced extremely difficult circumstances at the Hearings and still she hit it right out of the park. Please tell her that we all love her and are very proud to know her.”
The email was written not long after Clinton first sustained a concussion in December and then a related blood clot days later.
Upon receiving the email, Mills forwarded a copy to Clinton and described it as an email “from your doctor admirer.”
Look:
While the email proves nothing, it does seem odd considering that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases isn’t a subset of the U.S. State Department but rather one of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
As if that weren’t bizarre enough, a few months earlier Fauci had written to Mills to tell her how much he loves — yes, loves — Clinton.
“Wow! Very rarely does a speech bring me to tears, but this one did it. Talk about telling it like it is. This was a bases-loaded home run. Please tell the Secretary that I love her more than ever you guys too, of course,” he wrote in an email dated June 2, 2012.
A day earlier, Clinton had delivered remarks on global health at a globalist conference in Oslo, Norway.
View this email below:
While this email again proves nothing, it does at least make more sense considering Fauci’s job-oriented interest in global health.
The tenor of these emails has led some conservative critics to label them “love letters” to Clinton and justify the theory that Fauci is a Democrat Party “plant.”

Every time Dr. Fauci speaks, I hear Hillary Clinton. Every time I hear Dr. Burke speak, I hear Hillary Clinton.

Is there anyone on stage with President Trump that doesn’t or hasn’t had a relationship with the Clintons? Dr. Burkes husband also worked for the Clintons. We know Fauci was a supporter of Hillary. What are these people cooking up?

Note how the latter two tweets above — both written by Hollywood legend Chuck Woolery — also referenced the Trump administration’s second coronavirus task force point person, Dr. Deborah Birx.
While conspiratorial in nature, these observations are rooted in the legitimate concern that Fauci and Birx have been providing poor advice to President Donald Trump.
The concern itself is based on one, coronavirus death models constantly being revised downward, two, the actual coronavirus death rate likely being inflated, and three, Fauci and Birx promoting what some have dubbed “national suicide.”
To hear conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh tell it, it’s almost as if they’re purposefully misleading the president.
“It’s just, it’s just — you know we’ve got all of these Hillary Clinton sympathizers still in the medical expert team here. And we know that one thing has not changed, and that is these people’s desire, above everything else, to get rid of Donald Trump,” he opined earlier this week.
“Can you believe these people don’t care about the economy being shut down? It is stunning to me. People are being ruined. I talked to a number of friends of mine. These are people that own their own business. A guy, a good friend of mine in South Carolina, told me he’s losing a million dollars a day. Another friend’s business is totally shut down, he’s ruined. And there’s no end in sight to this.”
Yet Fauci in particular has dismissed economic damage as a price worth paying.
“If you look at our history, we’ve been through some terrible ordeals. This is tough. People are suffering. People are dying. It’s inconvenient from a societal standpoint, from an economic standpoint to go through this, but this is going to be the answer to our problems,” he said at a briefing last week.
His mentality parallels that of lead Democrats to a T. But according to polls, it doesn’t parallel the mentality of the American people at large …
More Americans are worried about the effect of the coronavirus on the economy than about their own health. https://t.co/n6hUAD5suw
