A hardcore supporter of failing Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders has reportedly filed a complaint with the Wayne State University Police accusing MSNBC’s Chris Jansing of assault and battery.
Jackson Allison, a former writer for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“, filmed himself on Tuesday approaching Jansing outside the Detroit Institute of Arts to question her about MSNBC’s refusal to run a single report about a man who’d waived a Nazi flag at one of Sanders’ events last week.
“Hi, can I ask you a question: Why did your network not find it newsworthy to report on an antisemitic attack at the Jewish candidate’s rally on Friday?” Allison asks the MSNBC anchor in the clip below:
I asked @MSNBC’s @ChrisJansing why the network chose not to cover an antisemitic attack at Sanders rally even though I texted the info to producer @DanielArnall. She said she doesn’t make those decisions, then tried to steal my phone and MSNBC security put me in a headlock pic.twitter.com/oaO2COkIpX

“I don’t make those decisions, so I can’t answer for them,” Jansing initially replies.
“So who makes those decisions, because I texted producer Daniel Arnall personally and told him about this information, so it’s not credible that no one in the building didn’t know, so I want to know why the network made that decision,” Allison presses.
“I don’t know,” the MSNBC anchor reiterates again.
“So you are an anchor, right, and so you don’t make these decisions, right? So who makes these decisions?” Allison asks again.
No matter how many times Jansing said she didn’t know, he kept repeating the same questions over and over again.
Eventually one of the men who’d been walking with Jansing tried stepping in between her and Allison, but to no avail, as the Sanders supporter quickly jumped around him and got back in the anchor’s face again.
It was at this point that Jansing could be seen reaching for Allison’s camera and the footage could be seen ending.
In a statement to Law&Crime, Allison claimed he wound up being put in a headlock.
“After telling me she doesn’t make those decisions, she became agitated and suddenly tried to steal my phone out of my hand,” he said. “I was put into a headlock by, I believe, two MSNBC security guards as Jansing shouted about not filming her without her permission and continued to grip my phone with all her might.”
“I was able to regain control of my phone, and duck out of the headlock, and was walked out by Eric Drewry, a director at the museum. I went back to my hotel to collect myself, and then went back to the museum to get the information of the people who assaulted me. Drewry attempted to get them to speak to me person-to-person, and they refused. I was forced to file a police report, which I did, against Chris Jansing and the MSNBC security guards.”
I’ve filed a police report about @ChrisJansing and the MSNBC security guards and I plan to press charges

Good. Those thugs have zero right to assault you. It’s a crime.
And it’s particularly disgusting that actors who play the role of journalists on TV would support the use of force against people for asking questions of public figures about newsworthy matters.

Law&Crime has confirmed that a complaint was indeed filed with the Wayne State University Police.
“Wayne State University Police said they are aware of the incident and confirmed that the police report was filed. The report won’t be available until Wednesday, however. The case will be handled by the Detroit Police Department,” the outlet reported.
According to Allison, the museum has “security camera footage that they will be able to show the police,” though they’re reportedly refusing to show the footage to either him or MSNBC.
As of Wednesday, frustration was mounting among Sanders supporters who were exasperated by the huge dichotomy between the mainstream establishment’s increasingly volatile behavior versus the mainstream establishment’s “uncivil Bernie Bros” rhetoric.
Sorry, Jack. You’re just a “hostile critic,” and Jansing did a “terrific” job of engaging you “face to face, fact to fact.”
Plus, if only Bernie Sanders would just quit running for president. None of this would happen and civility police wouldn’t have to put you in headlock. https://t.co/N4BLyfvabT

Note that Allison’s interaction with Jansing occurred on the same day that front-runner Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden threatened to “slap” a critic during a question-and-answer event at a Michigan auto factory.
He also accused the critic of being “full of s–t.”
Watch, and take note of the criticism below:
Today Joe Biden argued with a voter, called the AR-15 an “AR-14” and then threatened to slap the voter in the face. This is an old man losing control of his mind. At what point do Democrats realize what a giant mistake they’ve made backing senile Joe? pic.twitter.com/PBj3fuKEAu

Funny how people who complain about #BernieBros are also fervently defending @JoeBiden threatening to slap a potential voter and saying he’s “full of shit” before the #MichiganPrimary. That is very divisive and uncivil rhetoric! https://t.co/c5VfSQ2SPN

I just watched @MSNBC physically assault my friend Jack and earlier today I watched presidential candidate Joe Biden threaten to slap a union worker. We need a return to decency. These Biden thugs are disgusting. #NotMeUs
