Former Vice President Joe Biden did little to instill confidence in his presidential candidacy during remarks he made in Texas.
The 2020 Democratic hopeful seemed to be verbally tripping under the newfound momentum of his campaign as double gaffes during his Houston speech simply confused his audience on Monday.

No sooner, it seems, that Biden’s former Democratic rivals, Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, ended their White House bids and announced their endorsement than he flubbed moments in his rally speech.
The 77-year-old appeared to forget the words to the Declaration of Independence at one point during his remarks.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created by the you know, you know the thing,” he told the audience who were no doubt confused by his momentary amnesia.

Biden later had a slip of the tongue as he referred to Super Tuesday as Super Thursday.
“Look, tomorrow’s Super Thurs… Tuesday,” he said, catching the gaffe and then joking about it with the crowd who laughed.
“I’ll tell you what, I’m rushing ahead, aren’t I?” he asked.

President Trump, who clearly is not threatened by a Biden nomination, weighed in on Twitter later in the night with a montage of Biden gaffes that aired on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
WOW! Sleepy Joe doesn’t know where he is, or what he’s doing. Honestly, I don’t think he even knows what office he’s running for! pic.twitter.com/454v9GFpgF

The Democratic party’s moderate wing appeared to rally behind Biden who accepted the endorsements of Buttigieg and Klobuchar, as well as former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke who dropped his presidential bid near the end of 2019.
“Ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow, March 3, 2020, I will be casting my ballot for Joe Biden,” O’Rourke declared at a Dallas rally on the eve of Super Tuesday.
Biden declared that O’Rourke, who infamously held that he would forcibly confiscate some weapons from Americans, would be playing a role in his potential administration addressing gun-control efforts.
Beto O’Rourke campaigned on confiscating Americans’ guns by force if necessary.
Here’s Joe Biden hugging Beto tonight and telling him “you’re going to take care of the gun problem for me.”

Following his victory in Saturday’s South Carolina primary, Biden addressed Texas voters triumphantly while continuing to be dogged by his steady stream of campaign gaffes.
The former vice president told a South Carolina audience last week that he “became a professor” after leaving the White House in 2017, despite the fact that he never taught a single class.

He also presented a cringeworthy scenario when touting the Violence Against Women Act which he drafted as a U.S. senator, insisting that “no man has a right to touch” a naked woman.
Biden’s propensity to stretch – or forget – the facts led to clarifications he was forced to make last week about claims that he was arrested in the 1970s as he sought to meet with anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela in South Africa.
“When I said ‘arrested’ I meant I was not able to move, cops would not let me go with them and made me stay where I was,” he told CNN. “I guess I wasn’t arrested, I was stopped, I was not able to move where I wanted to go.”
Biden’s latest bloopers on Monday sparked plenty of reactions on social media.
At least I’ll get a lot of laughs in before I die without healthcare.
