Roger Stone’s colorful video deposition: ‘You can run back to the judge like a little b****!’

Unbeknownst to most in the public, convicted former Trump campaign official Roger Stone has been dealing with a spate of libel cases behind closed doors.

All of the cases exist because of Larry Klayman, a “right-wing” activist attorney known for his 1990s lawsuits against the Clinton administration, his founding of Judicial Watch and his defense of controversial personalities such as George Zimmerman, Laura Loomer and, most recently, Jerome Corsi.

On his website, Klayman claims that “Stone sought with actual malice to defame both Corsi and his legal counsel Larry Klayman because at the time he feared wrongly that Corsi would testify adversely against him in the criminal prosecution which later resulted in his conviction on 7 separate counts.”

Now flashback to about mid-February. A couple of days before Stone’s sentencing in the collusion delusion case, he sat with Klayman for an extraordinarily heated five-hour+ deposition. And during this deposition, Stone repeatedly unleashed hell-on-Earth-grade fury at Klayman.

In the clip below, for instance, he grew so angry at Klayman for accusing him of lying that he accused him in turn of being the real liar and then cited allegations that he, Klayman, is on the verge of being suspended from the bar and has a history of molesting his own children:

“You’re lying, aren’t you, Mr. Stone?” Klayman said to him about certain matters involving Judicial Watch’s current president, Tom Fitton.

No, you’re lying, aren’t you, Mr. Klayman?” Stone replied. “And you’re about to be ousted from the bar. Have fun molesting your own children, Larry? I read the court decision.

Was there any truth to Stone’s allegations? Kind of.

Last summer a lethal ethics panel for members of the District of Columbia bar did indeed issue a recommendation that Klayman be suspended “from practicing law for 33 months for ‘egregious’ misconduct in 2010 while representing a woman who refused his romantic advances,” as reported by The Washington Post.

And a court case from 2009 involving Klayman, his ex-wife and their children did reportedly reference sexual abuse.

“As recounted in U.S. District Judge Anne Conway’s opinion, in June 2009, Klayman and his former wife were involved in a contentious child custody battle in Ohio,” the Courthouse News Service notes.

“The magistrate concluded the attorney engaged in inappropriate touching of his child, and also gave a high level of credence to the testimony of the children’s physician, who reported allegations of sexual abuse to children’s services.”

Later during the deposition, Stone upped by the ante by calling Klayman a “b****” after the attorney tried to score a point against him by referencing his indictment last year by then-special counsel Robert Mueller.

“You have nothing. This proves nothing,” Stone said to him, arguing that the attorney’s case against him is bunk.

“That’s what you told Mueller, right?” Klayman then asked in what appeared to be a purposeful attempt to rile up Stone.

The attempt worked.

If you want to keep insulting me, this will be over and you can run back to the judge like a little b****!” he shot back.

“Did you just call me a b****?” Klayman then asked.

“You’re acting like one,” Stone replied. “You don’t have anything, my friend. You got nothing.”

FYI, it’s not illegal to call someone a “b****.”

Listen:

The entire deposition is reportedly full of such moments.

In five-and-a-half hours of video recorded over two days, Stone’s hands shake, he bares his teeth, his lips twitch and he repeatedly loses his temper in the face of goading from conservative lawyer Larry Klayman, who has several libel suits pending against Stone and his associates,” Politico notes.

“Klayman repeatedly needled Stone over the guilty verdict in his D.C. trial, which stemmed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. The conservative lawyer also taunted Stone over an episode in 1996 when the National Enquirer got a hold of a swingers’ magazine that appeared to contain an ad taken out by Stone. That prompted Stone’s firing from Sen. Bob Dole’s presidential campaign.”

Stone, in turn, let Klayman know exactly how he felt about him.

“I don’t have to be badgered by this a**hole,” he reportedly said at one point.

Even the beginning of the deposition started with fireworks, as Klayman tried chastising Stone for arriving late to the deposition because of a mix-up that he himself had caused.

“It seems extraordinarily petty to me,” Stone said in response to the chastizing.

“It’s not petty, Mr. Stone,” Klayman said.

“Your time’s not more valuable than mine,” Stone replied.

“You have little to no respect for court or judicial process, do you?”

“Objection,” Stone’s attorney, Robert Buschel, then chimed in.

The final deposition ended with these stern words from Stone: “You’re defaming me. Let the record show that this man’s bar license is under attack in Washington, D.C. for his serial misconduct.”

Fact-check: TRUE.
