Adios, muchacha! That’s what many New Yorkers hope to say soon to Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. AOC could lose her seat now that fellow Hispanic Democrat, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, launched a primary challenge against the “Bronx Bolshevik.”
Caruso-Cabrera is a former CNBC reporter and Cuban-American who will run in the Democratic Party’s primary race in the 14th District, according to a new FEC filing.
In a statement, Caruso-Cabrera said: “I am the daughter and granddaughter of working-class Italian and Cuban immigrants. I am so lucky to have had such a wonderful career and I want everybody to have the opportunity that I’ve had. That’s why I’m running.”
I'm running for NY-14, to fight for the people of Queens & the Bronx, daughter of Cuban immigrants and living the American Dream 🇺🇸 https://t.co/DY5eLoCKgL

Unlike AOC, Caruso-Cabrera is not a radical socialist; she’s a pro-capitalism, centrist Democrat.
In her 2010 book “You Know I’m Right: More Prosperity, Less Government,” Michelle revealed that — despite being a longtime Democrat — “I will always love Ronald Reagan.”
Caruso-Cabrera also wrote in her book: “The core principles of Reaganomics rejuvenated an unstable economy and the Clinton-era policy successes took power away from the federal government and put money in our pockets.”
“We must return to the fundamentals of American politics: small, not big, government. Less spending, not more.
The first step is to more narrowly define the parties’ platforms away from needlessly divisive social issues and refocus the political discussion on that really matters: economic policies that create jobs.
I find it frustrating that the Democrats think I want to keep paying for their big government and endless spending projects.”
Caruso-Cabrera says she believes she can defeat Ocasio-Cortez because AOC had 16,898 votes in her primary race, but less than 28,000 votes were cast.
MCC tells me she is a registered Democrat and has been for several years. She says this race is winnable, arguing that AOC had 16,898 votes in her primary, but less than 28,000 votes were cast.

Caruso-Cabrera previously was a broadcaster at Univision News and was recently named one of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics” in the country by Hispanic Business Magazine.
Michelle Caruso-Cabrera warns against the dangers of socialism and champions the achievability of the American Dream through hard work and perseverance.
In contrast, AOC says poor Americans should not even try to lift themselves out of poverty. Instead, she says, they should depend on the government to fix everything for them.
Ocasio-Cortez has endorsed socialist Bernie Sanders for President and argued that illegal aliens work harder than you and me.
Reminder: AOC wants you to pay more taxes, even though she hasn’t paid her own taxes from 2012. (Our taxes pay her salary.)
Ocasio-Cortez is still reeling from the volcanic bipartisan backlash she stirred when she chased Amazon (and its 25,000 high-paying jobs) out of New York.
Alfredo Ortiz — the CEO of the Job Creators Network — has torched OAC for championing socialism, a failed ideology that caused the once-prosperous Venezuela to crater into poverty.
“Socialism takes and capitalism creates,” Ortiz said. “Socialism took away 25,000 to 40,000 great-paying jobs. We have economic illiteracy in this country! [Ocasio-Cortez] is taking a victory lap while thousands of people lost the American dream.”
Dear Dems: Read it and weep.
