Tucker eviscerates fawning liberal media for ‘pornographic’ reaction to Schiff’s speech

During the second day of the president’s Senate trial, impeachment manager Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, told multiple lies. But you’d be remiss if you thought you could learn about these lies at CNN or MSNBC.

Because as Fox News host Tucker Carlson mockingly noted late Wednesday evening, the “journalists” and “analysts” at CNN and MSNBC “were too deep in bliss” to even try to hold Schiff accountable for his lies, exaggerations, and bullschiff.

They were too deep in bliss,” the host bluntly said. “To the mouth-breathers on cable television, an Adam Schiff speech is like a brainstem massage. Surging waves of ecstasy flood the central nervous system. Linear thought ceases. All that’s left are satisfied grunts of pleasure.”

After playing clips of media “journalists” and “analysts” showering Schiff with praise, Carlson issued an apology to underage viewers.

We want to apologize to any viewers under 18 who may have just watched that. It was obviously pornographic and not suitable for children,” he mockingly said.

Neither CNN nor MSNBC chose to cover it, but Politico broke a report this week revealing that Schiff “mischaracterized a text message exchange between two players in the Ukraine saga.” Of course, Politico framed it as just an “error.”

“Schiff sent a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler last week summarizing a trove of evidence from Lev Parnas, an indicted former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani,” the outlet reported. “In one section of the letter, Schiff claims that Parnas ‘continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,’ citing a specific text message exchange where Parnas tells Giuliani: ‘trying to get us mr Z.’ The remainder of the exchange — which was attached to Schiff’s letter — was redacted.”

But the evidence strongly suggests “mr Z” was not Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky but rather Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma.

Responding to this “mischaracterization” on Wednesday, conservative radio show host Glenn Beck bluntly labeled Schiff “a lying dirtbag.”

I’m going to just come out and say, Adam Schiff is a liar,” he said. “And he intentionally lied. And we have the proof. The media being his little lapdog, but I’ll explain what’s really going on, and call the man a liar to his face. No, I’m not suggesting he’s a liar. No, I’m telling you, he’s a liar. … Adam Schiff is a lying dirtbag.”

Glenn beck : Adam Schiff is a LIAR.

Just one day into the Senate impeachment trial, and Representative Adam Schiff has already been caught in ANOTHER big lie…or a “mischaracterization” as the mainstream media would like you to believe. Glenn doesn’t hold back on his opinion of Schiff the “lying dirtbag.”

This was one of Schiff’s pre-trial lies. As the trial began this week, his lies multiplied.

Late Wednesday, for instance, Fox News host Chris Wallace pointed to a lie Schiff told earlier that day in which he’d taken a quote from acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney out of context to smear the president and his administration.

“He kept using the line from Mick Mulvaney, ‘Get over it,’ and saying, well are we just going to just get over it?” Wallace noted. “Before I interviewed Mulvaney the week of his problematic news conference, I went back and looked at that statement in detail. And that’s not what Mick Mulvaney said at all.”

During a press conference in October, Mulvaney did utter the words “get over it,” but not in the manner that Schiff tried to imply.

“He did say ‘get over it,’ but he was talking specifically about the fact that there is politics in foreign policy and that specifically, that when Barack Obama is conducting his foreign policy, it’s going to have a different political flavor and a different policy agenda than when Donald Trump is — and each president, they’re elected, is fulfilling his mandate,” Wallace explained.

“He wasn’t saying that this kind of quid pro quo, get over it, just accept it. He was talking specifically about the idea of policy and politics in a foreign policy agenda. Quite frankly … he [Schiff] completely misrepresented what Mick Mulvaney said.”

Listen:

That’s two lies that were completely ignored by MSNBC and CNN, the latter of which recently settled a lawsuit by agreeing to pay Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann an unspecified sum to make up for having smeared him.

There was also a third lie — namely, the claim by Schiff that the president doesn’t believe that Russia tried to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

Fact-check: FALSE.

View the proof below:

This too was ignored by CNN and MSNBC, because as Carlson correctly noted, its “journalists” and “analysts” were too busy pleasuring Schiff’s ego to care. #Journalism.
