Hollywood has-been George Lopez thinks he can make some money … $40 million … by taking up Iran on their offer of a bounty on President Trump. In fact, he’s put them and the rest of the world on notice that he’s in, and will, in fact, do it for half of the amount the Islamic Republic is willing to pay.
Once upon a time, Lopez fancied himself an actor and comedian and he actually made a living on TV and in clubs doing stand-up.
It seems that it may not be paying the bills anymore and he is moving into a new career field … hitman, specializing in political assassination. It’s not clear what his qualifications are in that new field, but like many Hollywood has-beens, he’s proven to be able to kill off his own career with political idiocy.
Lopez posted to an Instagram thread started by “ChicanoWorldStar” that asked: “#Iranian authorities have put a bounty on American President Donald Trump’s head during the televised funeral of General #QasemSoleimani after he was assassinated last week. What are your thoughts?”
“We’ll do it for half,” wrote Lopez.
During the televised funeral for terrorist General Qassem Soleimani, official state broadcasters announced a bounty payable to anyone who kills President Trump. The money will apparently be raised via a voluntary tax on Iranians.
According to EN24 News, Iran’s state television proclaimed: “Iran has 80 million inhabitants. Based on the Iranian population, we want to raise $ 80 million, which is a reward for those who get close to the head of President Trump.”
Various Iranian officials, from Ayatollah Khameini on down through the ranks of government and the military, have vowed to take revenge on America for the assassination of Soleimani.
Khameini said on Friday that Iran would seek “harsh revenge.”
Iranian MP Abolfazl Aboutorabi threatened to take the offensive to America’s capital. “We can attack the White House itself, we can respond to them on the American soil,” he said according to the Iranian Labour News Agency. “We have the power, and God willing we will respond in an appropriate time.”
On Saturday, Trump promised that the U.S. would strike back against a list of 52 targets if Iran chooses to attack “any Americans or American assets” … 52 being the number of hostages Iran seized and held for 444 days 40 years ago.
Soleimani was long viewed as the world’s most dangerous terrorist, in charge of international clandestine military operations by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force. He has been responsible for the death of thousands of innocents, to include hundreds of Americans.
In the midst of these tensions, the likes of Lopez and other Hollywood blowhards seem to think it’s acceptable to side with an evil enemy that has no compunction against killing guiltless citizens by the dozens, hundreds, or even thousands.
No doubt the Secret Service is aware of this latest Lopez threat. If only they would bring charges against him, it might cause the left to think twice about spouting off about and encouraging treasonous, criminal behaviors.
Like he assassinated his career
