Jill Biden — the wife of Democratic gaffe machine Joe Biden — taunted President Trump, saying he’s “afraid to run against my husband” and that’s why Trump spotlighted Biden’s shady Ukraine dealings.
Jill made the delusional claims during an MSNBC interview. “Donald Trump has shown us who he is,” Mrs. Biden sniffed. “[The Ukraine scandal] has been a real distraction. I think it just proves that he’s afraid to run against my husband Joe Biden.”
When asked why the media coverage of her son Hunter Biden’s Ukraine scandal has so unrelenting, Jill quipped: “I know my son. I know my son’s character. Hunter did nothing wrong. And that’s the bottom line.”

When asked about Joe’s hyper-defensive, angry reaction to a Marine veteran who had asked about Hunter’s suspicious board membership on Burisma Holdings, Jill insisted that Joe was merely being a protective dad.
Keep in mind that Hunter Biden is a 49-year-old father of four. Hunter — who turns 50 in February — is expecting his fifth child with his new wife, Melissa Cohen Biden.
The same leftists who slam Trump for discussing Hunter’s suspicious Ukraine and China business dealings think it’s hilarious to mock his 13-year-old son Barron.
“You fight for your kid,” Jill said. “You can never say something against somebody’s child! That’s just bullying.”
Jill said Joe’s enraged response to a voter’s benign question shows the American people that he still has “fire in the belly” even though he’s 77 years old.
“That just shows that Joe’s going to stand up to bullies like Donald Trump,” she quipped.

As for lingering doubts over Joe’s advanced age, Jill insists that “Joe has a lot of energy.” Jill’s endorsement of her husband has changed dramatically since August when she was mocked for her pitiful, unconvincing pitch to voters.
At the time, Jill tepidly said that Joe may not be the most likable or have the best ideas, but Democrats should vote for him because polls suggest he has the best chance to beat President Trump.
She said Democrats’ goal should not be to elect the best person for president but to defeat Trump.
“Your candidate might be better on health care than Joe is,” Jill said. “But you’ve got to look at who’s going to win this election. So maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, ‘OK, I personally like so-and-so better,’ but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump.”
In addition to the Ukraine scandal and his unending series of epic gaffes, Joe has other unresolved problems.

A New Jersey woman said Joe defamed her late father by falsely claiming her dad was a drunk driver who had caused the 1972 car crash that killed Joe’s first wife Neilia and their infant daughter.
Curtis Dunn was a tractor-trailer driver. In December 1972, Dunn was driving his truck when the wife of then-Senator Joe Biden drove into the path of his vehicle, according to police reports.
Dunn overturned his truck while swerving to avoid a collision. Police said Dunn was the first person to render assistance to Neilia after she crashed her car “possibly because her head was turned and she didn’t see the oncoming truck.”
In other words, the car accident was likely caused by Neilia Biden — not Curtis Dunn. For years, Joe Biden repeatedly claimed that a drunk driver had crashed into his wife’s car. However, police filed no charges against Dunn after their investigation concluded that he had done nothing wrong.
Curtis Dunn’s daughter said her dad was tormented by Biden’s false story and was riddled with guilt until the day he died in 1999. However, Joe Biden never admitted that he lied about the incident for years.
