With the Democrats’ impeachment drive against President Donald Trump now in full swing, the establishment media have seemingly stopped feigning impartiality and admitted to the public that they’re nothing but Democrat Party propagandists.
For instance, on Thursday one of The Washington Post’s “journalism” experts, glass-house-owner Margaret Sullivan, penned a piece (one widely shared among “journalists”) in which she encouraged her fellow “journalists” to make efforts to change the public perception’s on impeachment.
The piece drew immediate criticism from those flummoxed by the “journalist” community’s interest in swaying opinions versus reporting facts, including Fox News’ one and only Brit Hume, who came out swinging like Muhammad Ali:
Because, you see, journalists are not simply to report the news without fear or favor. Their mission instead is to convince the public that the president should be impeached and removed. Good lord. https://t.co/Wal1ekBY6Y

?HEY GUYS – LOOK AT THIS ?
When we say the establishment media are nothing but DNC propagandists – this is exactly what we mean
You need to replace the word “journalist” with “activist” for this tweet to make sense

This is embarrassing. A “journalists” job is NOT to change minds. Just inform with facts and let the people decide. Much less try to get to “undecided” people to change their minds. https://t.co/B2Atpx1lB5

They’re not even pretending anymore. Democracy dies in rabid activism posing as journalism. https://t.co/1U112rSHoA

If you still need proof that the mainstream press is biased against the President, look no further.
It’s not journalists’ job to change minds. It’s their job to report the facts.
And the facts are on the President’s side. https://t.co/ajcq2AFzYg

“Journalists” apparently need to do a better job of being Democratic hack surrogates, according to this gross take: https://t.co/hU4YNBKMB9

The Never Trump MSM have decided to out themselves, since they know that the American public already knows their intents and agendas. They’ve decided not to lie anymore about being “journalists” and to just admit they carry water for the Left…

In fairness to Sullivan, she abstained from explicitly writing that “journalists” should work to persuade the public to side against the president. However, that appeared to be her underlying point, as evidenced by the tenor of her piece.
She slammed Republicans for their “epistemological nihilism,” she praised the Democrats’ factually challenged witnesses and she wrote of how “important” it is to focus on “less-certain Republicans” who remain unsure of how they feel about Trump’s impeachment.
And then there’s her clearly partisan conclusion, in which she openly urged “journalists” to embrace partisanship because “nobody ought to be above” the law.
“There are facts. There is truth. We do live in a country that abides by laws and a Constitution, and nobody ought to be above them,” she wrote. “Despite the hardened positions, some members of the public are still uncertain. Some are persuadable, and yes, it matters. Maybe, just maybe, it’s the job of American journalism in this moment to get serious about trying to reach these citizens.”
Versus just reporting the facts …
But Sullivan’s piece isn’t even the most glaring example of partisanship. Over at The Atlantic, “staff writer” David Frum published a piece Thursday in which he provided the Democrat members of the House Judiciary Committee with clear-cut instructions on “mobilizing public opinion in support of impeachment.”
Sound familiar?
“The organizers of a televised hearing need to ask themselves at every turn: What are we trying to accomplish? To whom are we speaking, and what are we hoping to communicate to that audience?” he wrote.
“The Republicans know their answers to those questions. Their message is massive resistance. They behave like goons to warn the majority of the high and painful cost of any attempt to hold Trump accountable. They are not trying to convince. They are not even trying to refute. They are trying to mobilize their supporters and to frighten their opponents.”
Opinionated much?
Now fast-forward to late Thursday evening, when CNN chief media correspondent Brian Stelter — a “journalist” who just happens to share Sullivan’s work in his daily newsletter almost every single day — tweeted Frum’s opinionated tirade to his readers.

How is this “journalism?” It’s not …
It’s the construction and dissemination of clear-cut left-wing commentary and opinion disguised as objective, non-biased, non-partisan “journalism.” In short, it’s bullschiff!
But it’s also ubiquitous, in that this is how the contemporary establishment media always comport themselves — whether it’s by openly championing the Democrat Party’s agenda, smearing non-establishment journalists, throwing any journalist who challenges the Democrat Party’s agenda under the bus, fact-checking the president’s jokes and memes or just being so damn opinionated.

So much journalisming …
Are they really journalists, though, or are they just liberal news writers and commentators? There’s a difference, you know.
But apparently, they don’t know.
