U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized on Friday night with chills and a fever. According to Fox News, those symptoms were beaten down with intravenous antibiotics and fluids and she may be released from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore to go home as early as Sunday morning.
The 86-year-old, a progressive icon, has proven to be a prizefighter when it comes to “taking a punch” and coming back from health issues that might have knocked out most others.
Ginsburg has been a fixture on the high court for over 26 years. She was appointed by Bill Clinton, and at the time, she was viewed as a moderate. She was the first Jewish person on the bench in 24 years, and was the second female justice appointed to the Supreme Court.
She is widely viewed today as a defender of abortion rights. With the recent conservative shift in the balance of the court after the appointment of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, her seat on the bench represents an all-important and potentially decisive vote for future abortion-related decisions.
In fact, some would say that Ginsburg’s ability to retain her position on the court, which grows more tenuous with each successive health scare, is a major factor in progressives’ mission to remove President Trump from office using whatever means necessary.
Trump’s next Supreme Court appointment promises to put a decidedly conservative stamp on the court that should last for many years, and one that presumably could overturn Roe v. Wade and put a stop to abortions in the U.S. It is estimated that liberal abortion laws have resulted in the loss of anywhere from 45 million to 65 million unborn children.
Thus, every Ginsburg headline today moves both liberals and conservatives to the edge of their seats.
Earlier this month news outlets were quick to report on a “stomach bug” bothering the justice, which of course, at her age and health profile could represent a legitimate threat.
More to the point, Ginsburg’s repeated bouts with cancer have posed major challenges that she has managed to come back from. In the past year, Ginsburg has undergone treatment for lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. In 1999, Ginsburg defeated colon cancer and in 2009 she had surgery to remove a pancreatic cancer tumor.
Like her or not, you have to respect her fighting spirit and determination to live.
Without a doubt, her liberal supporters are there for her, hoping she can keep on keeping on until such time a Democrat takes the White House in order to replace her on the bench with a strong left-leaning judge.
Prayers for Judge Ginsburg. I saw an interview not long ago where she stated she didn’t understand the controversy over Judge Kavanaugh he was an extremely qualified and very nice.

Notice how EVERYTIME Justice Ginsburg is hospitalized, LIBERAL media sources always put in the headline, “expected to be released”.
Did the doctors say that? They usually don’t. That’s said to calm the fears of the Left.https://t.co/BbMlUNXxjP— David A. Clarke, Jr. (@SheriffClarke) November 24, 2019
Geez. I suspect that they are working triple time, doing back flips, sparing nothing to keep her moving. I wish her well. No reason not to. But she needs to retire. If she wasn’t so stubborn, she’d have done that while Traitor Barry was at the wheel.

This headline only warrants responses of hope for the best for her. I expect conservatives to be honarable. It is weakness to allow politics to take away compassion. It doesn’t matter how mean liberals are to us. We need to be good just as we hope our liberal friends will be.

If she passes, holy hell. Washington is going to go crazy.

If its an infection, it could be a routine UTI, which at her age, could be pretty serious. Praying for her health. and our country.

The real reason for the rush to impeach.
