‘Tantalizing!’ Trump teases release of summary from first call with Zelensky

President Donald Trump has vowed to release a transcript of the first phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The transcript he released two months ago pertained to an allegedly controversial call he had with Zelensky in July. The newly promised transcript will instead cover the first call they shared together right after Zelensky won the country’s presidential election in April.

“In order to continue being the most Transparent President in history, I will be releasing sometime this week the Transcript of the first, and therefore most important, phone call I had with the President of Ukraine. I am sure you will find it tantalizing!” Trump tweeted early Monday evening.

“The call preceded the July 25 phone conversation during which Trump asked Zelensky to pursue investigations into the 2016 hack of the Democratic National Committee server as well as former Vice President Joe Biden and his son’s business dealings in Ukraine,” The Hill notes.

“The release of Trump’s first call with Ukraine is likely to grab attention during a critical week for the White House and House Democrats as the impeachment hearings go public.”

The liberal media have focused almost exclusively on the tweet above to argue that the reason for the president’s announcement was to divert attention from the widely criticized public impeachment hearings set to begin Wednesday. The evidence suggests otherwise.

Neglected from many reports, including the one published by The Hill, were the tweets that preceded and followed the president’s announcement.

In tweets posted before his announcement tweet, the president warned that House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff will most likely “fabricate” the contents of his transcripts once the public hearings begin. He also complained about the Democrats’ decision to deny both the White house and congressional Republicans their due process rights:

Would the committee chair actually stoop so low? In reality, he already has. After the president released the transcript of his July 25 call in September, Schiff held a public hearing in which he purported to read directly from the transcript. Except what he “read” was in reality a completely fictional account of what the document actually said.

Because the president had already released the transcript before that hearing occurred, it was clear the committee chair was lying and thus easy to hold him accountable.

Given Schiff’s past behavior, it stands to reason that the real purpose of Trump’s announcement Monday was to preempt any future shenanigans.

In tweets posted after the announcement tweet, the president accused Schiff and his congressional colleagues of manufacturing the whole impeachment narrative. As evidence, he cited the fact that they’ve been talking about impeachment for three whole years.

While the president didn’t mention it in the tweets he posted Monday evening, newly uncovered evidence has also suggested that members of the left have been plotting to effectively overthrow Trump via a “coup” since the same week he was officially inaugurated.

“#Coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately. #lawyers,” attorney Mark S. Zaid tweeted on Jan. 30, 2017.

Six months later, he posted two additional tweets vowing that “[w]e will get rid of him” and predicting that the anti-Trump network CNN would “play a key role” in Trump’s ouster.

Who is Zaid? Simply the man representing the partisan whistleblower whose dubious accusations of corruption against the president spawned this whole fiasco.

These findings regarding the whistleblower attorney’s activities have sparked concerns among Republicans that the whistleblower’s accusations against the president are part of a purposefully engineered “deep state” political hit job designed to spur his ouster from office.

A “deep state” plot that Democrats have been more than willing to humor, all in their fervent zeal to oust the duly-elected president from office.
