First Son Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, braved the lion’s den and sat down with the ladies of “The View” to discuss topics ranging from his new book “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us” to the problems that his father is facing as president.
The wide-ranging interview devolved into interruptions and bickering several times as Jr. and Guilfoyle faced an onslaught of accusations and vitriol. The high-profile couple fended off attacks on the president, as well as the assertion that the oldest son had named the whistleblower on Twitter to put him in danger.
Arguably the most contentious portion of the show was a moment when Joy Behar attempted to rehash the “Mexicans are rapists” lie from Donald Trump’s campaign launch. The president’s son wasn’t having it, and noted that Behar herself had once dressed up in “blackface.”
Just now on The View:
Joy Behar refutes @DonaldJTrumpJr’s claim that she wore blackface.
Here’s her as an “African Woman” for Halloween when she was 29. She described her makeup as “darker than her skin”. #TheView pic.twitter.com/OKfl29jsqi

Watch:
Don Jr. didn’t let Whoopi off the hook for allegedly running cover for rapist “Roman Polanski.”
Yes, @DonaldJTrumpJr went on The View & called out Whoopi for saying Roman Polanski wasn’t guilty of “rape-rape.”
This was as great as when @realDonaldTrump invited victims of Bill Clinton to the presidential debate.#TheView

Despite denying the accusation of wearing blackface, Behar did admit that she once dressed as a “beautiful African woman” as BizPac Review reported in February of 2019.
In a video clip from “The View” in 2016, Behar discussed naturally curly hair while sharing a photo of herself at 29 years old.
“It was a Halloween party. I went as a beautiful African woman,” Behar said, noting “that’s my hair!”
“Did you have tanning lotion on, Joy?” co-host and actress Raven-Symoné asked.
“I had makeup that was a little bit darker than my skin,” Behar replied.
The discussion was so tense, in fact, that Whoopi opted to end the segment early, cutting off Kimberly as she discussed how well women and female entrepreneurs are doing under Trump’s economy.
Watch:
We had the ladies of @TheView absolutely TRIGGERED! Hah!
Proud to stand with @DonaldJTrumpJr, @realDonaldTrump, and the entire Trump family. America loves the Trumps! #KAG2020 ??❤️ pic.twitter.com/scu6s3ORdm

All in all, Jr. couldn’t have asked for a more appropriate way to advertise his new book about triggering the left and watching them freak out over his father’s presidency.
Equally as impressive as the masterful way he handled those women was the way he managed to get a usually left-leaning crowd to cheer on several occasions, even once forcing Behar to cut off the audience and chide them.
Watch:
?HOLY WOW ?
The View is getting completely owned by @DonaldJTrumpJr & @kimguilfoyle.
Far-Left hosts are freaking bc they lost their OWN studio audience – who is breaking into applause & cheering for Trump.
WATCH: Joy Behar snap & yell at audience “This is NOT a MAGA rally!” pic.twitter.com/OR72JCn9uk

There is something to be said for watching Whoopi Goldberg begrudgingly advertise a book that directly attacks her political leanings on her own show.
