Poorly-performing Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris’ seemingly incompetent aides have managed to catapult her campaign into the spotlight yet again.
Literally only hours after one of the senator’s aides was exposed for admonishing a BuzzFeed reporter who had committed the unspeakable sin of criticizing the candidate yet another aide made it onto front-page news by posting a dumb tweet.
Reportedly posted at either 10:14 pm Wednesday evening or 10:14 am Thursday morning, the tweet by Harris’s national press secretary, Ian Sams, consisted of the “unhinged meltdown” photo of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi berating President Donald Trump.
Except that Sams had chosen to “meme-ify” the photo by replacing the president with a cutout photo of his boss and captioning it with the words “Time for an upgrade.”
The implication was that his boss ought to be president, not Trump.
While the tweet has since been deleted, copies of the meme shall forever remain:

Once the press picked up on the meme and it went viral — and Sams deleted it in humiliation — Twitter did what it does best and mocked the hell out of him.
“Pelosi yelling at Kamala while she’s surrounded by Trump cronies isn’t the strong message you think it is,” one insightful critic pointed out.
“So you’re saying Kamala will do a better job implementing Trump’s agenda than Trump? You thought through this well,” another wrote.
But the best replies were those who took Sams’ silly meme and “memified it” further.

It seems that Sams only played himself. For one, his “meme” was stupid and clearly demonstrated that he “doesn’t know how to meme.” And second, at the rate Harris is going, she’ll never be president — or at least not anytime soon.
As of mid-October, her polling averages were at a meager 5.2 percent — a long way off from her summer high of 15 percent — and highly unlikely to ever rise again.
But Sams wasn’t satisfied with only embarrassing himself once, for sometime after he deleted his original tweet, he posted another one bemoaning the allegedly “sad” state of affairs on so-called “Rightwing twitter.” To many, the tweet sounded awfully bitter.
As one Twitter user noted, it was as if he was saying “I’m sad people are laughing at me because I’m bad at my job.”
Look at this and other criticism below:

Not as sad as Kamala Harris’s campaign!
you might now want to throw stones having worked for a campaign that has never really been able to get off the ground, even though the candidate was at one time considered a frontrunner

Our definitions of ‘sad’ are apparently years apart. We’re having the time of our lives over here on ‘rightwing’ Twitter!

Shouldn’t you be captaining a sinking ship right now? Or did Kamala fire you already?
— MummEeyore (@someguymusing) October 17, 2019
Ya, I’d rather spend my days screaming at the sky because #MumuMemaw lost and getting an ulcer because the news keeps building up my hopes that President Trump will be out of office next week. Come to find out that it’s all bullshit.

I’m not sure what your game plan is, but today you’ve posted not one, but two “kick me” signs on Harris’ behalf and you are doing her no favors. This is coming from a supporter.

The fiasco with Sams occurred only hours after reporters with BuzzFeed exposed one of Harris’s other aides for hassling one of their colleagues about a tweet critical of the senator.
“Hard to know if last night harmed or helped Warren, but think all can come together and agree a debate highlight was Warren telling Kamala Harris no about banning Trump from Twitter then just continuing with her point in the manner of shrugging off a Greenpeace clipboard person,” Buzzfeed reporter Katherine Miller had tweeted during Tuesday evening’s Democrat debate.
In response, an unnamed aide messaged BuzzFeed editor-in-chief Ben Smith to complain about Miller’s so-called “whiteness manifest.”
Much like Sams’ stunt, this too backfired “bigly”:
