Being smeared as a racist by a freshman Democrat known for his inordinately loose anti-Trump lips has inspired decorated Navy SEAL veteran Rep. Dan Crenshaw to share a revealing truth bomb about the Democrat Party as a whole.
“When you can’t articulate a coherent argument, you resort to calling your political opponents racist. Can’t say I’m surprised. Just another day in Washington with the Democrat Party,” he tweeted Tuesday morning after learning about Rep. Sean Casten’s unnecessary trash-talking.
The Democrats and their liberal media allies have a sordid history of using salacious, bombastic and sometimes outright insane allegations and conspiracy theories to smear their political opponents as everything from racist bigots to white supremacist Nazis.

Of course, everyday conservatives were already aware of this tired strategy:

They use this cry so much it’s almost like they want to change the meaning to liking all races ??♂️ there will be a whole generation growing up not knowing what real racism is when they see it. They are marginalizing those that truly are effected by actual racism . Sad commentary

The race card is expired. Do the Democrats have any other form of argument?

The tweet was inspired by the trash-talking of the Illinois representative, who earlier this month labeled the Texas congressman a “racist” for introducing an amendment to stop illegal aliens from voting.
He made the remarks while trying to defend his anti-Semitic colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar. He suggested that though the flurry of anti-Semitic remarks she’d made in the past were “horribly inappropriate,” the retired Navy SEAL was the real bigot.
“The last amendment on the floor that day … came from Dan Crenshaw, the new Republican, the Navy SEAL with the eyepatch,” he said to a group of supporters.
“He came up with an amendment to say, ‘we’re going to add a rider on this bill that says that illegals can’t vote.’ And I sat there and I said, ‘you know what? You’re not allowed to vote if you’re not a citizen.'”
“Why are you doing that?” Casten continued. “The reason you’re doing that is because you are a racist. Because you are trying to appeal to people who will vote for you if you stand up and oppose brown people.”
“That’s what we have to stand up to. This ain’t about Ilhan Omar. Did she say some unfortunate things? You bet she did. But you know what? She apologized for it.”
So according to freshman Rep. Casten, the Navy SEAL veteran’s attempts to protect the integrity of America’s elections is the hallmark of racism, while Omar’s repeated smearing of the Jewish people as veritable “hook-nosed” deviants is simply “unfortunate.”

Asked by the Washington Free Beacon about the freshman Democrat’s remarks, Crenshaw’s spokesperson said that insults deriving from an individual who once compared the president to deceased terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden “won’t be taken seriously.”
“If Rep. Casten is so deeply offended that our laws prohibit non-citizens from voting in federal elections, then he should be honest with his constituents and let them know how little he values the power of their vote,” spokesperson Kerry Rom added.
The bill that her boss tried to amend was the “For The People Act of 2019,” which, if signed into law, would expand so-called “voting rights” by, among other things, reportedly weakening state voter ID laws, thus making it easier for illegals to potentially vote. (This isn’t unheard of. See below.)

Casten has very loose lips. While running for election last year, he claimed that America’s duly elected president, Donald Trump, has “a tremendous amount in common” with bin Laden, a deceased terrorist responsible for the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
“In many ways—and I don’t mean to sound overly, I don’t know, hyperbolic on this—Trump and Osama bin Laden have a tremendous amount in common,” he said in a radio interview at the time.
“They have both figured out how to use the bully pulpit to activate marginalized young men. Every demagogue has done this—find a group of angry people and give them something to be angry at.”
According to the Beacon, the remarks were part of an insane gun control spiel.
“Casten, a ‘clean energy entrepreneur’ who emerged on top of a tight primary in Illinois’ sixth district in March, made the bizarre comparison after he was asked by a voter for his plans to advance gun-control legislation if he were elected,” the outlet notes.
“The comment was part of Casten’s explanation that gun-control opponents, whom he appears to be comparing to al Qaeda supporters, are what will keep gun-control legislation from advancing to the House floor.”
That’s called crazy talk. So is the belief that Crenshaw is a racist.
