Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report into the Obama administration’s alleged FISA abuse has been delayed again, allegedly as a result of infighting between federal agencies and “perhaps” a lack of cooperativeness by FBI Director Christopher Wray.
“Evidently, there’s an intra-agency debate and really a food fight if you will about the classification issues,” former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz revealed during a discussion Monday evening with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
“Remember in the last report put out by Horowitz, there were only seven words or so that were redacted. The Democrats threw a fit that they couldn’t see the whole thing. This could have 10-20 percent of the report redacted.”
In other words, “deep state” operatives are allegedly working behind the scenes to prevent all of Horowitz’s allegedly damning findings from going public.

Hannity responded by asking if perhaps Wray is behind the infighting.
“Who is asking for the redactions? Would that be Director Wray who has not shown any willingness to clean up the greatest law enforcement agency in the world? Is that him?” he asked.
As noted by investigative reporter John Solomon over the summer, Wray has repeatedly fought to protect the FBI from Freedom of Information Act requests concerning its use of a fraudulent dossier of misinformation to target President Donald Trump’s campaign in 2016.
“The FBI is going to court to fight the public release of a small number of documents the State Department sent to agents from Christopher Steele, the British intelligence operative and Hillary Clinton-paid political muckraker, during the 2016 election,” he noted in a report three months ago.
“The FBI’s July 10 court filing speaks volumes about Director Christopher Wray’s efforts to thwart the public understanding of what really happened in the FBI’s now-debunked Russia collusion probe.”

“I have not seen any evidence that Director Wray has been cooperative,” Chaffetz replied to Hannity before noting however that the current infighting appears to be between the CIA, the NSA, and other intelligence agencies.
“But I think we’re talking about other agencies,” the former congressman continued. “Perhaps the CIA the NSA. There are others.”
He further claimed that, behind the scenes, disgraced former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and disgraced former CBI Director John Brennan have been “fighting as best they can” to protect their own interests.
Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey may be involved as well.
“I think you need to look at what Mr. Comey, the director of the FBI, and his interaction with Brennan in particular. What sort of collusion was happening within our government and overseas. That’s the deep concern, Sean.”
It’s believed by Republicans that Clapper, Brennan, Comey, and other Obama administration officials “colluded” during the last presidential election to first try and prevent Trump’s election to office and then, after that failed, use an “insurance policy” to stymie his agenda and eventually remove him from office.
“Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper used their influence and newfound liberal sympathy to paint a picture of an intelligence community sounding the alarm about a Manchurian president,” the Washington Examiner’s editorial board noted after the Russia probe collapsed last spring.
“Perhaps even worse than the troika throwing their reputations and assumed insider knowledge behind Collusionpalooza was that they also chose to reinforce the sensational claim that the president was being blackmailed by Vladimir Putin.”
In other words, they used lies and hyperbole to gin up the Russian collusion delusion conspiracy theory and keep it alive for three whole years.
And now that Horowitz’s spotlight is reportedly on their behavior, they’re allegedly working diligently behind the scenes to protect themselves, according to Chaffetz.
The former congressman’s remarks late Monday came after a 24-hour news whirlwind that began when Fox Business Network host Maria Bartiromo confirmed via her sources early Sunday morning that Horowitz’s report was to be released this Friday. Roughly 24 hours later, she doubled down on her confirmation while speaking with FNC’s Sandra Smith.
“I’m hearing the IG report will be out this upcoming Friday, Oct. 18, and my sources say it’s as thick as a telephone book,” she said, adding that it’ll cover “more than just FISA abuse.”
Listen:
But hours later, she adjusted the timeline, writing on Twitter that the release date had been pushed back to the “end of the month” because of classification issues.

UPDATE: -IG report NOT out this Friday 10/18. Classifications being made. Likely end of month. @MorningsMaria @FoxBusiness @SundayFutures @FoxNews @MariaWallStreet #FisaAbuse

The FBN host’s update was not well-received by those fed up with a “Deep State” government that they’re confident has been acting against the president for three years and that they’re desperate to see finally be brought to justice.
Look:
More Deep State stalling. Rip the band aid off. Time for the Democrats to take their medicine and go off in the wilderness for 40 years.

so dems move at lightning speed to carry out an unconstitutional impeachment in SECRET and the justice department – probably WRAY – stall, redact and water down the real crime.

Good grief. I’m getting so sick of this. If there aren’t indictments this time, I will have lost all faith in our Justice Dept. (and I don’t have much faith right now)??

Geez! The damn report keeps getting pushed back further and further. It will be November or December or maybe next year!
— Vicki Taylor (@VickiTaylor7) October 14, 2019
Not surprised. When and if it ever comes out there will be either so many redations or it will be a flop.
To me this signals the deep state is still controlling the narrative. Still waiting for justice for over 40 yrs, just disappointed again.

So now another 2 weeks.
This can be seen ONLY as a purposeful delay tactic.
Please adjust expectations.
The IG Report and/or the response will be a total NOTHING
This further delay is almost ABSOLUTE confirmation of this, as any LEGITIMATE further delay wouldn’t be 2 weeks
