Rep. Liz Cheney has questions for Nancy Pelosi on the Ukraine phone call that she now thinks is looking “like a political set up.”
The Wyoming Republican addressed the House Speaker on Twitter, raising the issue on Republicans’ minds about the timeline of events and how much Democrats knew about the controversial whistleblower complaint before it was even made.
“So, Madame Speaker, ‘what did you know and when did you know it?’” Cheney asked in her tweet Monday, citing the Democrat’s comments on CBS News’ “60 Minutes” Sunday in which she recounted the conversation she had with President Trump ahead of the administration’s release of the transcript of the call between Trump and the Ukrainian president.
.@SpeakerPelosi said on 60 Minutes last night she knew the details of the classified Ukraine call before White House released transcript. This is starting to seem like a political set up. So, Madame Speaker, “what did you know and when did you know it?” pic.twitter.com/g5tlL5hBsX

Cheney’s question was echoed by many others who noted the eyebrow-raising statement by Pelosi about the contents of the July call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky before the transcript was released to the public.
“He told you about the phone call?” CBS News’ Scott Pelley asked in the “60 Minutes” interview.
“He told me it was perfect. There was nothing in the call,” Pelosi replied.
“But, I know what was in the call,” she continued, quickly adding, “I mean, uh, it was in the public domain.”
“It is wrong for a president to say that he wants you– another head of state– to create something negative about his possible political opponent to his own advantage, at the expense of our national security, his oath of office to the Constitution and the integrity of our elections,” Pelosi said.
Her remarks caused Cheney and others to raise questions.
How did Pelosi know about the contents of the call before the transcript was publicly released? Why didn’t 60 minutes or ANY journalist ask a follow up question?
This is collusion within our government against Trump

1. Whistleblower form changed to allow SECOND HAND knowledge BEFORE complaint submitted.
2. Schiff tweets prove he knew about it well before it was reported.
3. Pelosi admits on 60 minutes she knew what was in the complaint before it was released.

Last night on 60 Minutes, Nancy Pelosi said she “knew what was in” the Ukraine call before the White House released transcript to the public.
She then claims “it was in the public domain”.
It wasn’t.

Pelosi communications director Ashley Etienne told Fox News that Cheney had misinterpreted the question Pelosi was asked and that the Democrat had been referencing information that was already available to the public.
“Etienne said that to her knowledge, Pelosi was not made aware of the whistleblower complaint or the contents of the transcript before they were publicly released,” Fox News reported.
Republicans have also been questioning why the whistleblower form appeared to have changed just before the filing of the complaint against Trump, noting that a requirement for “firsthand information” was dropped.
“When this revised form was published, and whether the whistleblower received a copy of this form when making the disclosure on August 12, 2019, are both unknown to the House Intelligence Committee. However, the timing of the removal of the first-hand information requirement raises questions about potential connections to this whistleblower’s complaint,” top House Republicans wrote in a letter to Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, according to Fox News.
“This timing, along with numerous apparent leaks of classified information about the contents of this complaint, also raises questions about potential criminality in the handling of these matters,” the letter stated.
