Democrats’ claims that Trump threatened Ukraine officials by saying he’d withhold military aid unless he got dirt on opponent Joe Biden are weakening by the minute, as timelines of events are being destroyed.
The host of “Fox & Friends” tackled what could be one of the most incriminating parts of the whistleblower complaint against President Trump.
Details have emerged about what was said during the now-infamous phone call, and have largely turned up nothing-burgers despite Democrat and media attempts to spin evidence and transcripts.
But one claim by the mysterious whistleblower is raising eyebrows.
In the recently declassified complaint, the whistleblower alleges there was a suspicious “lockdown” concerning the phone call between Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. The whistleblower goes on to allege that the transcript was atypically loaded onto a separate “electronic system” used to store highly confidential and classified material.
Fox host Brian Kilmeade began by reading a laundry list of transcript points that basically exonerate Trump from Democrat allegations.
He also points out that the whistleblower who reported the call didn’t even hear the conversation.
Kilmeade wasn’t surprised that even an “innocent” transcript from a phone call with a foreign leader would be heavily guarded by the Trump administration.

It would be “important for national security,” Kilmeade said on Friday. “Because the Mexican private phone call was leaked, the Australian private phone call was leaked.”
“There was an editorial written in the New York Times, we still don’t know the author of it,” he added. “They still don’t know who they can trust, and who they can’t trust.”
The Trump White House has been plagued with leakers determined to undermine the president any chance they can get. It’s not a stretch to believe Trump officials would guard a private conversation so that it could not be spun – like it’s seemingly being spun now.
Fellow Fox host Ainsley Earhardt agreed, saying the Trump White House would be justified in being paranoid about possible leaks, especially with foreign leaders.
Speaking of deceitful leakers lurking in D.C., conservative commentator Ben Shapiro called out Dem Rep Adam Schiff over another angle involving suspicious timing:
That makes this sound more like the whistleblower may have been working with Schiff BEFORE the process had played out legally, and raises serious questions about leaks from the whistleblower or someone else in the intelligence community to Schiff.

Now THAT is what one might call a bombshell.
Dems have been making much ado over funds being allegedly held from Ukraine in order to strong-arm the country into complying with Trump.
Shapiro dug into the timeline of when the military aid was allegedly threatened to be withheld, noting that recent reports and transcripts indicate the Ukrainian government didn’t even know it was happening:
Notice, the WHISTLEBLOWER is stating that Ukraine may not have been aware that military aid was threatened at the time of the infamous phone call (they learned in early August, apparently). So how can there be a quid pro quo when the target DOESN’T KNOW HE’S BEING THREATENED?
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) September 26, 2019
This confirms the whistleblower report. Again, if the Ukrainians didn’t know that Trump was threatening aid, with what, precisely was he threatening them? More importantly, why haven’t the media been focusing on this angle? (I think we know the answer.)
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) September 26, 2019
So, as Shapiro put it, how could Trump bribe or strong-arm Ukraine President Zelensky if he didn’t even know aid was supposedly going to be withheld?
Shapiro continued to draw attention to more holes in Democrat allegations and media reporting:
So, here’s what we’re left with: speculation about an aid-based quid pro quo in a transcript — speculation openly rebutted by the whistleblower report, an NYT source, and this Ukrainian advisor to Zelenskyy. That’s pretty weak tea.

“Weak tea” all around.
