CNN has introduced a new feature to their reporting that shows how little the network cares about accusations of politically-slanted reporting.
The left-leaning network has an “impeachment clock” that has appeared behind anchors while they report. This “impeachment clock” counts the number of Democrats in support of ousting President Donald Trump.
The network has already received plenty of pushback for its “countdown clock.”

Despite resisting calls from within the Democrat Party to begin an impeachment inquiry on Trump, Pelosi has now warmed up to the idea. She announced this week that the House would begin an impeachment inquiry on Trump based on a phone call where the president allegedly pressured Ukrainian officials to give him dirt on Joe Biden.
Trump has denied doing any such thing, and a Ukraine official has also denied the accusation.
“The actions of the Trump presidency revealed the dishonorable fact of the President’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections,” Pelosi said in a press conference regarding the impeachment inquiry. “Therefore, today, I am announcing the House of Representatives moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry.”
Many feel Pelosi is caving to pressure since the more radical lawmakers in her party have been preaching impeachment for years and questioned the party’s leadership over their refusal to move forward with an inquiry.
“At this point, the bigger national scandal isn’t the president’s lawbreaking behavior — it is the Democratic Party’s refusal to impeach him for it,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted days before Pelosi’s press conference.

Pelosi has also already admitted that moving forward with an impeachment inquiry is really just another strategy to take on Trump in the 2020 presidential election.
As of Wednesday, CNN’s clock reads that 199 Democrats are in support of an impeachment investigation.
