“The View” co-host Meghan McCain collided with regular guest Ana Navarro on Friday.
The disagreement between the two came during a discussion about the U.S. intelligence official who recently blew the whistle on President Donald Trump. Wikileaks founder and whistleblower Julian Assange kicked off part of the conversation.

“There’s a lot of liberals who are okay with Julian Assange releasing Hillary‘s emails,” McCain said. “Okay. He’s a ‘whistleblower.’ I called him a cyberterrorist. And now at the same time, those same people are screaming bloody murder right now about this whistleblower. I think all interference from a foreign country in our election — all of it — is bad and should be condemned. And you can’t play party politics with this, and there’s a lot of people on the left who are doing that with Julian Assange.”
McCain also mentioned Pamela Anderson, with whom she previously got into an on-air disagreement with on the matter of Assange.
Navarro later said in response to McCain’s comparison, “I have a problem with both [Assange and the whistleblower]. But what I see as the difference though — if we don’t talk about it, and I think if there is no public pressure, they’d like for it to go away.”
“I don’t want it to go away,” McCain responded.
“I’m not talking about you. I’m talking about the administration, the people that are actually impacted by this,” Navarro replied.
This is when McCain got a little more heated.
“All Americans are impacted by this!” she said.
McCain’s frustrations were met with equal force by Navarro.
“I’m talking about the administration!” she said. “I’m talking about sending Rudy Giuliani out to distract us! I’m talking about telling us yesterday … Stephen Miller is actually dating a human being and not an inflatable. To distract us.”
“I don’t know what that means,” McCain responded as the audience laughed.
The two continued to bicker back and forth until Navarro said something that McCain couldn’t hear. When asked to repeat the comment, Navarro said, “I said, don’t scream at me. I’m two feet away!”
The show then cut to a break with the disagreement between the two clearly reaching a boiling point.
“That’s so rude, Ana,” McCain just before the commercial break. “Welcome back.”

Reports from The New York Times and The Washington Post recently detailed the allegation from the whistleblower who accused Trump of having an inappropriate call with a foreign leader. The claim by the whistleblower is that the president was pressuring Ukrainian leadership into giving him dirt on Joe Biden.
Trump came out swinging against the allegations on Friday.
“The Radical Left Democrats and their Fake News Media partners, headed up again by Little Adam Schiff, and batting Zero for 21 against me, are at it again! They think I may have had a ‘dicey’ conversation with a certain foreign leader based on a ‘highly partisan’ statement.” the president tweeted.
He then added, “Strange that with so many other people hearing or knowing of the perfectly fine and respectful conversation, that they would not have also come forward. Do you know the reason why they did not? Because there was nothing said wrong, it was pitch perfect!”
