Comedian Pete Davidson called out college students as “privileged little a**holes” during a show that turned from funny to serious pretty quickly.
The “Saturday Night Live” cast member seemed to lose his temper with University of Central Florida students as a video from his tour stop on Monday showed him unloading on audience members who took out their cellphones against the rules.

“I don’t have to be here,” Davidson said several minutes into his comedy show at the Orlando campus. “I can just give them their money back because I don’t give a f**k.”
He went on to complain about being in the “middle of f***ing nowhere” and called the students “idiots” who should “grow up” as he unloaded on his generation for privileged behavior.
“Don’t clap, that’s the problem. That’s what’s f***ed up about our generation,” he said.
“That’s why the world is going to end in 25 years, because you’re all f***ing retarded,” the 25-year-went on. “You should f***ing grow up.”
“It says no phones…You’re just supposed to just like behave. I have to have my boy patrol you guys like you’re 5 years old? That’s f***ing embarrassing.”
His lecture initially caused laughter from the crowd which assumed it was part of his routine and would lead to a punchline of sorts. Eventually, a few boos and heckling could be heard as Davidson kept berating the students.
“I just wanted to scare you — but grow up. Seriously,” he concluded as he moved on to do the rest of the show, which lasted about an hour according to The Hollywood Reporter.
UCF spokesman Mark Schlueb indicated the school’s unhappiness with Davidson’s rant.
“Mr. Davidson’s abusive language, particularly his use of a derogatory slur, is contrary to the University of Central Florida’s values of inclusion and respect for all,” he said. “It’s disappointing that his rant spoiled an event that was meant to welcome students back for the fall semester.”
The comedian came under heavy criticism last year after an insulting remark about former Navy SEAL and Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw.
The veteran was the target of Davidson’s mocking as the comedian insulted Crenshaw’s injury which he sustained when a bomb went off while he was serving in Afghanistan, costing him his right eye. After fierce backlash over the segment, Davidson came face-to-face with Crenshaw when the lawmaker made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”
Davidson apologized for his remarks and personally apologized to Crenshaw on the air.
Some attendees Monday at the UCF show claimed there were no signs posted indicating that cell phone use was prohibited, and the acts that preceded Davidson had not addressed the issue. But others pointed out that an announcement was made and, besides, it is common knowledge.

He has a point. Everyone is all looking at their phones rather then what is going around them. If I was performing infront of a lot of people and everyone was just on their phones the whole time I would be pissed too. If you go to a show then actually watch it and stop crying.

If by any miracle Pete Davidson sees this, I would like to formally apologize for the inappropriate behavior exhibited tonight by the UCF audience. You shouldn’t be filming a stand up. They do these college shows to practice material. If you don’t have respect for it don’t come.
