Bill Maher took some morbid shots at philanthropist David Koch and his family Friday night in his HBO show’s comedic monologue, at one point saying “F–k him … I’m glad he’s dead and I hope the end was painful.”
Never one to miss a shot at conservatives, Maher spewed a series of inappropriate wisecracks at the Kochs’ expense.
“Now some funeral news to report,” he said. “Yesterday, David Koch of the zillionaire Koch bothers died of prostate cancer.” His audience quietly cheered.
“I guess I’m going to have to reevaluate my low opinion of prostate cancer,” he quipped. The crowd found that quite funny.
“He was 79, but his family says they wish it could be longer. But at least he lived long enough to see the Amazon catch fire.”
“Condolences toward him from all the politicians he owned,” he continued. “And mourners are being asked, in lieu of flowers to just leave their car engine running.”
“As for his remains, he has asked to be cremated and have his ashes blown into a child’s lungs,” he said in a particularly ghoulish crack.
“I know these seem like harsh words and harsh jokes, and I’m sure I will be condemned for them on Fox News, which will portray Mr. Koch as a principled libertarian who believed in the free market,” Maher said. “He and his brother have done more than anybody to fund climate science deniers for decades, so f–k him, the Amazon is burning up, I’m glad he’s dead, and I hope the end was painful.”

CBS reported that David was less political than his brother Charles, a fact that went over the heads of many progressives …
“David Koch was less involved in politics than his brother and more known for his philanthropy to education and the arts, particularly ballet. He gave $100 million to renovate the New York State Theater in Lincoln Center, which was renamed for him in 2008.
David Koch also committed millions to various hospitals for cancer research. Quoting the pioneer of political economy, Charles Koch said Friday the “significance of David’s generosity is best captured in the words of Adam Smith, who wrote, ‘to indulge our benevolent affections, constitutes the perfection of human nature.'”
Maher was not the only heartless leftist to expose their rotten core at the news of David Koch’s death. “Washed up psycho” Bette Midler profanely attacked Heritage Foundation president Kay Coles James for her mention of “the passing of a great philanthropist and friend of liberty.”
With all due respect, Ms. James, fuck you. “A friend of liberty” Yes, his own and his family’s. The rest of us can drink leaded water and burn in the climate change he produced. And it was the #NewYorkCityBallet he endowed, not #AmericanBalletTheater. https://t.co/gpK11Yqi1F

Midler also tweeted an apology for initially tweeting that Charles Koch had died, saying: “I’m sorry to give others false hope. Guess it was just wistful thinking.”
I tweeted the #CharlesKoch had died, instead of #DavidKochIsDEAD . I’m sorry to give others false hope. Guess it was just wistful thinking. As we watch the Amazon Rainforest burning, all the #GlobalWarming culprits are foremost in one’s mind. https://t.co/a9JWnjd6Tg

There’s never a shortage of cruel discourse from the Hollywood peanut gallery …
Wishing the Koch brothers a speedy reunion.

On the flip-side, there are still some caring, responsible people on the earth who retain some perspective on life and death …
David Koch gave hundreds of millions, maybe billions, to countless charities.
I don’t agree with all of his political views, but that’s not a reason to dance on the man’s grave.
It’s sad that our country is so divided that we can’t have someone die without it being political.

I didn’t know David Koch, never met him. But insane, deranged, lunatic liberals celebrating his death, and hoping it was painful, is indicative of the disease, the curse, the plague, liberalism has become. How do these maniacs look at themselves in the mirror? They’re disgusting.

And FNC’s Greg Gutfeld didn’t just drop a truth bomb on Maher, he detonated a whole truth nuke:
so @billmaher said he’s glad david koch died, and his audience applauded. evidence of a needy phony and a gleeful mob uniting. Koch was a generous libertarian, whose millions went to fight disease. he did more for the world in a day, than Maher will do in his lifetime
