Tomi Lahren: ‘Jay-Z and Kap are motivated by the same thing, money’

Liberal rapper Jay-Z is being called out as a fraud and a hypocrite for a new deal he has signed with the National Football League.

The rapper, who was previously highly critical of the sports league over Colin Kaepernick’s inability to get a contract after kicking off the national anthem kneeling controversy, will reportedly be helping out the sports league in picking entertainment for games, including the Super Bowl. He will also reportedly be helping on the social justice side, providing players with a platform to voice their concerns.

Jay-Z is already being called out by many for what seems like a complete turnaround on his previous “opinion” of the league.

In regards to Kaepernick, Jay-Z told reporters that he spoke with the former quarterback this week, but he would not reveal how the conversation went. Kaepernick’s girlfriend, however, has a different story to tell.

“THIS is a lie. COLIN never spoke to Jay-Z and NFL ahead of that deal being done. They NEVER included him in any discussion,” Nessa Diab tweeted.

An anonymous source allegedly close to Kaepernick actually told The Atlantic that a conversation did take place at one point between the rapper and the former athlete, but that it “was not a good conversation.”

In a joint press conference Jay-Z and controversial NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell were all smiles.

“We don’t want people to come in and necessarily agree with us; we want people to come in and tell us what we can do better,” Goodell said about reforming the league with Jay-Z. “I think that’s a core element of our relationship between the two organizations, and with Jay and I personally.”

To give an idea of how bad Jay-Z really looks in all of this, the rapper previously called out the sports league in a rap song called “Apes***t” that addressed the kneeling controversy.

“Once I said no to the Super Bowl: You need me, I don’t need you. Every night we in the end zone. Tell the NFL we in stadiums too,” rapped Jay-Z.

This means at one point the rapper tried to get pats on the back for turning down a Super Bowl performance, but now he is shaking hands with the very people he criticized and he doesn’t seem to be getting a whole lot out of the deal besides money.

Jay-Z also previously showed support for Kaepernick by wearing the former quarterback’s jersey during an appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”

Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid, who was one of the original kneelers, has blasted Jay-Z’s new deal, especially since it includes nothing for Kaepernick.

Reid was also angered over Jay-Z saying during the previously mentioned press conference that “we’ve moved beyond kneeling.”

“For one, when has Jay-Z ever taken a knee to come out and tell us that we’re past kneeling?” Reid said, according to ESPN. “Yes, he’s done a lot of great work, a lot of great social justice work, but for you to get paid to go into an NFL press conference and say that we’re past kneeling? Again, asinine. Players Coalition 2.0, he got paid to take the bullets he’s taking now because we’re not having it.”

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren perfectly summed up Jay-Z’s seeming switch in beliefs in a tweet that highlighted the fact that the rapper is not the dedicated leftist he claims to be; he’s just in it for the money.

“Jay-Z and Kap are motivated by the same thing, money. It’s not, and has never been about ‘the culture,'” she tweeted.

Anyone who thinks she’s wrong, Jay-Z said this in one of his very own songs.

“I’m not a businessman. I’m a business, man!” he once rapped.

Translation: Jay-Z doesn’t care about Kaepernick or any of the liberal endorsements he throws out. He cares about branding himself and that’s exactly what this new deal does. It proves how empty his rhetoric on kneeling really was.
