Former White House staffers Omarosa Manigault Newman and Anthony Scaramucci bashed President Trump in a joint appearance on MSNBC, which was widely panned before it even aired.
The former Trump loyalists likely fulfilled every liberal’s dream with their personal attacks on the president and his state of mind during an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on “Hardball” Friday.

Scaramucci, the former White House communications director who was fired after only 11 days on the job in 2017, claimed that Trump doesn’t listen to anybody and is “having a run-on rambling sentence to himself.”
Recently becoming a vocal critic of the president, Scaramucci declared that it is the “patriotic duty” of every American to oppose Trump’s 2020 re-election bid.
“We have to litigate this before the American people,” he said. “Do you want somebody for the next five years that’s not going to take anybody’s counsel inside the White House and just literally be talking to himself in that stream-of-consciousness that you just witnessed in New Hampshire last night? So that’s what we’ve got to do. It’s a patriotic duty for my fellow Republicans to do that as well.”
His ridiculous concerns about Trump’s mental health were predictably shared by Manigault Newman who warned of the president’s “mental decline” in the segment that also included Trump transition team member J.W. Verret.
“What we’re watching is Donald Trump in complete and total mental decline,” she said, contrasting his present state to the “sharp, intelligent, articulate Donald Trump” who worked with her on “The Apprentice.”
“He can’t finish a thought, a sentence. He can’t even conceptualize simple policy issues,” the fired former communications director for the Office of Public Liaison added. “We should be very concerned about his mental state as he leads this country.”
“Omarosa and I were trying to help him,” Scaramucci added at one point. “There were many other people in there trying to help him. Omarosa and I are willing to speak out about it. There are people behind the scenes, I talked to many of them over the last four or five days, that are getting ready.”
Scaramucci’s fallout with the president made headlines last week as Trump called out his short-lived communications director.
Anthony Scaramucci, who was quickly terminated (11 days) from a position that he was totally incapable of handling, now seems to do nothing but television as the all time expert on “President Trump.” Like many other so-called television experts, he knows very little about me…..

…..other than the fact that this Administration has probably done more than any other Administration in its first 2 1/2 years of existence. Anthony, who would do anything to come back in, should remember the only reason he is on TV, and it’s not for being the Mooch!

Friday’s “Hardball” show was preceded by mockery and criticism on social media after MSNBC announced the panelists joining Matthews earlier in the week. many slammed the former White House staffers for going to new lows in an attempt to stay relevant.
Others called out the network for inviting on guests who offer little, if any value, to the debate.
“Journalism is failing you,” former CNN host Soledad O’Brien tweeted in response to the announcement.

Others joined the pile-up as well, and continued once the show had aired.
You could talk about Hong Kong, India and Pakistan, climate change and the melting of the ice sheets in Greenland. You could talk about racism and colonialism, ICE raids you could talk about literally anything except these two fools. Do you truly care so little about journalism?

Pretty sure you can’t have a show called hardball and then invite two tabloid celebs on and still call it hardball https://t.co/S6DKKWbtBl
