People are scratching their heads over the death of Jeffrey Epstein on both sides of the political aisle.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is already demanding answers following news that the billionaire committed suicide while in custody. Epstein was facing charges of sex trafficking minors.

Epstein was reportedly found in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) dead on Saturday morning. Reports say he killed himself by hanging.
Epstein was put on suicide watch in late July after another suicide attempt.
“He reportedly tried to kill himself two weeks ago. And is allowed to finish the job now? Bullsh*t,” “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough tweeted about the case.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has called for an investigation into Epstein’s death.
“I agree @AOC,” he tweeted in response to AOC’s Epstein tweet. “Chairman @RepJerryNadler should prioritize a Judiciary investigation into how Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody (in Nadler’s own neighborhood!) over the Kavanaugh confirmation (which already happened), and the Russia hoax (which never happened).”
Epstein’s death follows explosive documents related to his case being released to the public. The documents contain allegations against everyone from Prince Andrew to Democrat politicians like George Mitchell and Bill Richardson.
Both Richardson and Mitchell are accused in the documents of having sex with a minor. The minor is claiming she was kept by Epstein and a business associate as a “sex slave” in the early 2000s and she was forced to have sex with many high profile men.
Richardson and Mitchell have both denied the allegations through public statements.
“The allegation contained in the released documents is false,” Mitchell said.
He added, “In my contacts with Mr. Epstein I never observed or suspected any inappropriate conduct with underage girls. I only learned of his actions when they were reported in the media related to his prosecution in Florida. We have had no further contact.”
Richardson denied allegations against him through a spokesperson.
“Governor Richardson has never even been contacted by any party regarding this lawsuit,” the spokesperson said. “To be clear, in Governor Richardson’s limited interactions with Mr. Epstein, he never saw him in the presence of young or underage girls. Governor Richardson has never been to Mr. Epstein’s residence in the Virgin Islands. Governor Richardson has never met Ms. Giuffre.”

The documents also shed more light on the relationship Bill Clinton had with Epstein.
While many leftists have tried tying Epstein’s death to President Donald Trump, others have been taking to social media to point out Epstein’s close relationship with Clinton and the fact that following his death, there’s no chance he can testify against the former president, a man who reportedly had numerous parties hosted by Epstein.

“The fact that Jeffrey Epstein was able to commit the selfish act of taking his own life as his world of abuse, exploitation, and corruption unraveled is both unfortunate and predictable,” Brad Edwards, an attorney representing some Epstein accusers, said in a public statement about Epstein’s death.
