President Donald Trump laid an epic smackdown on struggling Democratic presidential candidate Robert Franciso “Beto” O’Rourke ahead of today’s visit to El Paso, Texas following last weekend’s mass shooting.
El Paso is O’Rourke’s hometown. So naturally, Beto exploited the tragedy to get some much-needed media attention since his poll numbers are dismal.
President Trump slammed O’Rourke for shamelessly appropriating Latino culture with his use of a fake Hispanic name and clapped back after Beto blamed Trump for the El Paso shooting.
Trump tweeted: “Beto (phony name to indicate Hispanic heritage) O’Rourke, who is embarrassed by my last visit to the Great State of Texas, where I trounced him, and is now even more embarrassed by polling at 1% in the Democrat Primary, should respect the victims & law enforcement – and be quiet!”

O’Rourke got so triggered by Trump’s tweet that he fired back and reiterated his inane claim that Trump was responsible for the El Paso massacre.
Robert Francis tweeted: “22 people in my hometown are dead after an act of terror inspired by your racism. El Paso will not be quiet and neither will I.”

If Beto wants to play that game, then he should blame Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren for the Dayton, Ohio shooting, which was committed by one of her leftist supporters.
The Dayton shooter also supported and mimicked the socialist rhetoric of Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. AOC has not disavowed him.
Similarly, Beto O’Rourke should blame Bernie Sanders for the 2017 shooting of Republican Congressman Steve Scalise by a far-left Bernie supporter.
Using the same logic, Beto should also blame Ocasio-Cortez for the terrorist attack at an ICE facility last month, since the left-wing terrorist echoed AOC’s anti-ICE rhetoric.

The media have seized on El Paso shooter Patrick Crusius’ alleged “Manifesto” to paint him as a racist inspired by Trump. But they don’t report that Crusius underscored that he was not inspired by Trump.
“My ideology has not changed for several years. My opinions on automation, immigration, and the rest predate Trump and his campaign for president.
I putting this here because some people will blame the President or certain presidential candidates for the attack. This is not the case.
I know that the media will probably call me a white supremacist anyway and blame Trump’s rhetoric. The media is infamous for fake news. Their reaction to this attack will likely just confirm that.”
O’Rourke’s shameless exploitation of the El Paso tragedy (before the victims are even buried) is a showboating gimmick to deflect attention away from his flailing presidential campaign.
Like fellow far-left Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, O’Rourke became the “face” of the Democrat Party in 2018, thanks to his clueless, youthful energy and faux Latino first name.
That media fawning abruptly ended last month, after Beto’s unfortunate debate performance, where his garbled attempts to pander to Latino voters by speaking Spanglish made him a national laughingstock.
Because of his use of a Spanish nickname, many people assume that Beto is Hispanic. He’s not. Beto claims he was called “Beto” as a child to avoid confusion with his namesake grandfather, Robert Francis.
Since announcing his 2020 presidential candidacy, O’Rourke has been lampooned for his frenetic hand movements. Even the “Tonight Show’s” liberal host Jimmy Fallon mocked Beto’s wild gesticulations.
O’Rourke also has some bizarre skeletons in his closet, including a poem he wrote as a teen under the pseudonym “Psychedelic Warlord.”
In the bovine-centric poem “The Song of the Cow,” young Beto urges a cow to give him milk and “buff my balls and wax my *ss.”
Meanwhile, O’Rourke reportedly tried to flee the scene of his 1998 DUI arrest, according to the Houston Chronicle:
“O’Rourke was driving drunk at what a witness called “a high rate of speed” in a 75 mph zone on Interstate 10 about a mile from the New Mexico border. He lost control and hit a truck, sending his car careening across the center median into oncoming lanes.
The witness, who stopped at the scene, later told police that O’Rourke had tried to drive away from the scene.”
