Antifa? Dayton shooter was masked, armed counter-protester at Ku Klux Klan rally

DAYTON, OH - MAY 25: Counter protesters gather en masse to protest against a rally held by the KKK affiliated group Honorable Sacred Knights of Indiana at Courthouse Square on May 25, 2019 in Dayton, Ohio. Besides being someone who boasted far-left extremist views, the Dayton shooter was also a militant activist who sometimes participated in armed protests and had a record of “exploring violent ideologies,” according to federal authorities.

While authorities haven’t identified the specific “violent ideologies” that the shooter had been “exploring,” the evidence seems to suggest they’d been of the far-left persuasion. The evidence includes the fact that he protested a Ku Klux Klan rally in downtown Dayton three months ago.

“The May 25 rally attracted about 500 to 600 counter-protesters who opposed the nine Klansman who came from Indiana and protested in Courthouse Square,” the Dayton Daily News reported Tuesday.

“The counter-protest group was fenced 0ff away from the Klansman and several people in the crowd were seen carrying firearms. [The shooter] wore a bandanna covering part of his face and sunglasses. He spoke briefly with a reporter in the crowd during the event. He carried a gun which appeared to be similar in style to the one used in Sunday’s shooting.”

The evidence also includes social media posts showing that the shooter had been a hardcore left-winger who was pro-Satan, pro-socialist, pro-gun control, pro-Antifa and anti-police.

He’d likewise been someone who frequently retweeted hyperbolic left-wing talking points from notable Democrat figures like socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and presidential candidates Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

The Dayton Daily News has confirmed that the shooter was also a registered Democrat — one whose friends have admitted was “definitely not a right-leaning person.”

What remains unknown is the shooter’s motivation for opening fire at a bar in Dayton last Sunday, killing nine innocents, including his own sister and her boyfriend.

But because the Dayton shooter didn’t release a manifesto like the El Paso shooter, the left-wing media have chosen to ignore or downplay his political leanings. This has troubled conservatives because they are confident that the media would have pounced on the shooter’s social media posts had he displayed even the slightest right-wing tendencies:

Note how both of the conservative commentators seen above, Ben Shapiro and Alex Griswold, cited the smearing of 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

After psychopath Jared Lee Loughner shot and injured 13 people, including Rep. Gabby Giffords, during a mass shooting in Tucson, Arizona eight years ago, The New York Times falsely claimed that the shooting had been inspired by Palin.

This same thing now appears to be happening vis-à-vis the El Paso shooter, whose hatred of immigrants and opposition to illegal immigration have been pinned on President Donald Trump because of his widely shared opposition to illegal immigration (NOT legal immigration).

The media meanwhile have ignored the El Paso shooter’s left-wing views on big corporations and environmental policies — much as they’re now ignoring the Dayton shooter’s left-wing views.

To its credit, CNN ran a report Tuesday admitting the truth about the Dayton shooter’s left-wing views. However, its report was met with outrage from left-wing activists and other left-wing media “reporters”:

Keep in mind that CNN didn’t suggest anything. It simply reported the facts. But because the facts were not conducive to the left’s agenda, the left (including some in the leftist media) pounced. And in pouncing, the left lied through its teeth, as usual.

Despite what CNN’s critics wrote, there is a rich, growing history of of people on the left in any leadership position “espousing hate and violence” toward the police, not to mention toward the president, his familyhis supporters, non-white conservatives and anyone else who refuses to toe the radically far-left woke line.
