New Trump campaign ad is a comic book-style ‘squad’ bodyslam

President Trump isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to “The Squad” and he sure isn’t intimidated by their identify politics defense.

Rather than take on his Democratic presidential opponents, (who don’t seem to be bothering him very much) the Trump campaign Twitter account just published a video that is a comprehensive, from-the-ropes-style bodyslam against the four radical freshmen congresswomen. The best part? All it does is use news reports and direct clips to verify exactly what the president has said about these women. It’s factually bulletproof and quite aesthetically pleasing, which is something we don’t see a lot of in political ads.

Ilhan Omar

His first opponent was the infamous Ilhan Omar, the freshman congresswoman from Minnesota. Trump’s claim that she asked for lenience in the cases of 9 young Somali men who were found guilty of attempting to join the Islamic State was backed up by a news report on the matter.

Watch below:

The video then goes on to play a clip of Trump quoting Omar as saying that “ignorance is pervasive in America,” which of course doesn’t mean the people who voted for her or her allies.

Rashida Tlaib

President Trump’s beef with Michigan’s Representative Rashida Tlaib and her crazy antics has been well-documented here at BizPac Review. In the video, he recalls the shocking instance of her calling him a m*****f***** and even told the crowd at his rally that it’s “not nice. Even for me.”

The video also plays a clip of a ranting and Tlaib being forcibly dragged from a Trump rally while hysterically screaming that everyone in the room is “crazy.” It is unclear whether the irony of that situation is lost on the congresswoman.

Ayanna Pressley

Ayanna Pressley is arguably the least obnoxiously loud of the “squad,” but when she opens her mouth, it proves that she has earned her place there. The Massachusetts representative is on the record as saying “We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice.” Trump mocked the idea that people of one race can only speak for their race, before cutting to the video clip.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

It seemed like the Trump team wanted to save the best for last, keeping “squad” poster girl AOC for the very end of the video. The president took time out of his speech to accuse her of claiming illegal aliens are “more American” than any of those who would “seek to keep them out,” and then backed it up with a clip of her saying just that.

The clever video wraps up with a slowed down, repeated clip of AOC saying “if that’s what radical means, call me a radical.”

The best part of this video is that factually, it is completely sound. The only thing that liberals can say about it is that it’s “mean,” or in their case “racist.” They won’t try to dispute any of the things that were said, because they can’t.

That’s the best kind of “attack ad” you can run.
