Trump-hating movie director Michael Moore was so disgusted by Robert Mueller’s disastrous Congressional hearings that he admitted the debacle was an epic failure for Democrats.
Moore tweeted: “A frail old man, unable to remember things, stumbling, refusing to answer basic questions…I said it in 2017 and Mueller confirmed it today — All you pundits and moderates and lame Dems who told the public to put their faith in the esteemed Robert Mueller — just STFU from now on.”
Moore was rebuking himself as much as he was other liberals. As BizPac Review reported, Moore also got caught up in the media hype. In December 2018, Moore gleefully confessed that his fantasy was to see Ivanka Trump and the entire Trump family in jail.
However, unlike other rabid Trump haters, Moore admitted at the time that it was unlikely that President Trump would be indicted or jailed.

Even CNN’s anti-Trump legal analyst conceded yesterday that the Mueller hearings were a total disaster.

For weeks, Democrats and the left-wing media hyped Mueller’s July 24 hearings before the House Judiciary Committee and the House Intelligence Committee. They insisted that Mueller would offer damning testimony that would provide fodder for Trump’s impeachment.
In reality, there is bipartisan consensus that Mueller stumbled big-time in both hearings, and discredited both himself and his $35 million taxpayer-funded boondoggle.
President Trump shared Moore’s distressful tweet, gloating: “Even Michael Moore agrees that the Dems and Mueller blew it!”

As BizPac Review reported, Mueller’s seven-hour testimony provided no new evidence for Democrats to use as a pretext to impeach President Trump with.
This result was forecast beforehand, because Mueller had insisted all along that his Congressional testimony would not stray beyond what he wrote in his 448-page final report.
Unfortunately for the left, the only thing that Mueller’s testimony showed was that he did not write his own report, and that he was embarrassingly unfamiliar with (or deliberately ignored) many crucial components of his failed Russia collusion investigation.
Mueller still struggling to answer even basic questions. He can’t accurately remember facts, evidence, or even his own conclusions.
Folks—this guy didn’t run the investigation. His team of Resistance Democrats did.

Trey Gowdy, the former chairman of the House Oversight Committee, called the hearings “an unmitigated train wreck” for Mueller and the Democratic Party.
“The person who learned the most about the Mueller report today was Bob Mueller,” Gowdy told Fox News. “He clearly didn’t write the report, which means those under him did. Which means the issue of bias is all the more important. It was a terrible day if you are a Democrat.”

Gowdy says Democrats had their hopes crushed when Mueller’s incoherent ramblings failed to provide a road map leading to a Trump impeachment.
“Before Bob Mueller had uttered a single syllable of the report, 60 House Democrats moved to impeach him,” Gowdy said. “What they wanted was Mueller to come in and do their job for them — to issue this road map that could lead them to impeachment.”
Like many other attorneys, Gowdy says Mueller and Democrats inverted the burden of proof standard in their desperate bid to attack Trump.
“In the criminal justice realm, you are cloaked with the presumption of innocence, unless and until the United States government proves each essential element of an offense beyond a reasonable doubt,” Gowdy said.
Under the U.S. judicial system, a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof is on the prosecutor to prove that the defendant is guilty. The burden is not on the defendant to prove he’s innocent.
With the Russia investigation, Mueller and Democrats had presumed from the start that President Trump was guilty of Russia collusion and obstruction of justice. That’s why they were so triggered when the two-year witch hunt provided insufficient evidence to support either claim.
President Trump got the final word. “What have you accomplished in 2.5 years?” he asked.
