The radical left is infamous for shutting down debate and silencing critics, all the while touting how tolerant they are.
And when it comes to radical leftists, few reach the level of derangement seen from Bette Midler — aside from Cher, of course.
The recording artist puts the wind beneath the wings of fascism in her intolerance for a differing opinion, and took to Twitter on Sunday to prove it.
In a tweet directed to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who Midler speaks to as if they were dear friends, the singer/songwriter called on the social media platform chief to help the country and the planet “by kicking Trump off Twitter.”
At least, “until the next election” — which may speak volumes about how Midler feels about Trump’s chances of reelection.
“Dear #JackDorsey, why don’t you help your country & the planet, by kicking #Trump off #Twitter?” Midler posted. “Or shutting down until the next election? You’ve made more than enough money & Trump is strangling the free world w/his racist bile. Be strong! You can improve the course of history!”

While there may be a fair number of weak-kneed Republicans eager to jump on the bandwagon here, the idea of suspending Trump from Twitter is not new.
The radical left feminist Women’s March said in May it had 200,000 signed petitions that it planned to deliver to Twitter to suspend the president.
200,000 people have signed petitions from #WomensMarch, @CREDOMobile, and @MPower_Change calling on @Twitter to #SuspendTrump.
On Monday, we’re hand-delivering these signatures to Twitter HQs in San Francisco (https://t.co/kuogM1sUyq) and NYC (https://t.co/QhMguhGgnE). Join us! pic.twitter.com/Rn4zAQbkw0

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill proudly acknowledged that he donated to a GoFundMe campaign in 2017 to buy controlling interest in Twitter for the sole purpose of taking away “Trump’s most powerful megaphone and prevent a horrific nuclear war.”
The campaign’s modest goal was to raise $1 billion — CNBC reported in April that the company’s market cap was $30.5 billion — and is just $999,910,281 short of reaching the goal.
Let's #BuyTwitter and #BanTrump! With my #ArmageddonAnxiety growing daily- I donated gladly! #GoodLuckValerie https://t.co/8saF5KMnA1

While it’s unlikely that Twitter would consider shutting the president of the United States down — at least not openly — all of the social media giants seem determined to limit their platforms from playing any role in Trump being reelected.
While Twitter, Facebook, Google and YouTube all insist that their policies are applied across the board, the evidence suggests that conservatives are bearing the brunt of the consequences.
In other words, there appears to be enough censorship happening already. Either way, here’s a sampling of responses to Frau Midler from Twitter:

Look at the bright side, @BetteMidler , you’ll be nearly 80 years old when Trump leaves office in 2024.

You know what it means when someone wants to deny someone a voice?
It means their ideas can’t compete, and their only hope is to silence other ideas.— Historical_Perspective (@knight__hawker) July 22, 2019

Condoning censorship is about as Un-American as one can get! Trust me, they already censor us, and already have a plan to “fix” the election #TheGreatAwakening

Hitler censored and dominated one way arguments while denying debate, too.
